Jacqueline Jossa shows off incredible Christmas decorations at Essex mansion

Jacqueline Jossa delighted fans on Sunday as she shared a video showcasing her holiday home transformation, complete with candy canes and a massive Christmas tree.

The former EastEnders actress, who portrayed Lauren Branning on the soap from 2010 to 2018, took to Instagram this weekend to showcase her Christmas decorations after coming home from a holiday in the Maldives with her husband, Dan Osbourne.

Bringing in the professionals, the 30 year old former I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here winner employed SerendipityBoo, an Essex-based event decoration company, to tackle the colossal job of decorating her £1.2 million mansion in Essex.

On Sunday, the company shared a behind-the-scenes video from the job, which was set to Meghan Trainor’s rendition of Its Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Back again for another magical makeover! Christmas 2022,” the caption read.

The short clips showcased the entire process, with the bare white walls steadily becoming draped in varieties of green and red.

The family’s white bannisters were wrapped in tinsel and bows, while the grand staircase was flanked by yet again more traditional colours and leafy garlands.

Jacqueline, who recently attended ITV’s Palooza, posted the clip to her own story, where she penned: “Watching it come together. Thank you Queens @serendipityBoo. I [love-heart emoji] you.”

Fans gushed over the lavish decorations in the comments, with one writing: “Wow looks amazing!!”

“Looks amazing darling,” another wrote, while a third added a simple, “love it.”

Last month, Jacqueline returned to Eastenders to attend the funeral of beloved character Dot Cotton, who first appeared on the square back in 1985.

Dot died back in April after her actress, June Brown, passed away at the age of 95.

Jacqueline’s character Lauren was not the only alumni to return to the square, with Tom Watt’s George Holloway, Lord Michael Cashman’s Colin Russell, and Linda Davidson’s Mary Smith also returning.

Barry Clark, played by Gary Hailes, and Jan Graveson’s Disa O’Brien also made an appearance at the event and were photographed looking sombre while dressed in all-black.

Speaking on her return, the star said: "Coming back to EastEnders for Dot's funeral was a no-brainer, and it was a real honour to be invited back. I had a lot of fun but, of course, it was bittersweet.

"It was amazing to be back, but hard to be filming this storyline. I can tell the viewers now that Dot gets the beautiful send-off that she deserves. June was the light and joy of EastEnders."

The funeral is expected to air sometime in December, though an exact date is yet to be revealed.
