Jake Paul Urges Adidas to Give Away Kanye West’s Inventory for Free After Contract Termination

The professional boxer’s statement comes after the sports brand officially cut ties with the Yeezy designer due to the latter’s controversial anti-Semitic remarks.

AceShowbizJake Paul is weighing in on Adidas’ decision to cut ties with Kanye West after they partnered for nearly a decade. Taking to his social media platform, the professional boxer urged the sports brand to give away all of the rapper/designer’s inventory for free.

Making use of his Twitter account on Tuesday, October 25, the 25-year-old athlete wrote, “I hope Adidas gives all of the Kanye inventory to underprivileged kids around the world for free.”

Jake Paul shared his response after Adidas cut ties with Kanye West following his anti-Semitic remarks.

However, Internet users believe that it’ll never happen. “They never will broo. the only thing they care about is money and propaganda they call for freedom speech and when someone disagrees with their opinion they will just blame him. ‘hypocrisy’ the world we live in,” one person opined. Another simply said, “underprivileged kids make those Adidas products! lol.”

“I’m pretty sure they still own the shoe design and are going to keep on selling them without the ‘Yeezy’ brand attached,” a separate person responded. “They aren’t going to throw millions of dollars’ worth of material away or give it away lol.”

Earlier that day, Adidas officially terminated a contract with Ye, who has been dropped by numerous brands and close collaborators over the past month in light of his recent anti-Semitic comments. “Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech. Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect, and fairness,” a statement read.

“After a thorough review, the company has taken the decision to terminate the partnership with Ye immediately, end production of Yeezy branded products and stop all payments to Ye and his companies,” it continued. “adidas will stop the adidas Yeezy business with immediate effect.”

Adidas’ decision to part ways with the rapper, whom they worked with since 2013, took a massive toll on Ye’s net worth. According to reports, Kim Kardashian‘s ex-husband’s net worth decreased from over $1.5 billion to $400 million.
