Jamie Foxx breaks silence after being hospitalised with mysterious medical emergency

Actor Jamie Foxx has broken his silence after being hospitalised for an unknown health reason while he was on the set filming for new Netflix movie, Back in Action.

The 55 year old Oscar-winning actor, known for films including Django Unchained, Collateral and Ray, spoke out on his Instagram in a post that simply said: “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” followed by the praying hands emoji, a red heard and a fox.

The stars comments section was quickly flooded with even more well wishes from famous friends and fans.

TV presenter and comedian Ellen DeGeneres wrote: “I’m sending love to you every single day”, while Backstreet Boys star AJ Mclean wrote: "Hey bro. Aj from Backstreet Boys my man your in my prayers day and night bro. Lets get you better and home."

One supportive fan wrote: “Get well OG. Greatest Entertainer Alive, the World is pulling for you”, while another said: “Praying for a speedy recovery and protection moving forward…”

The Amazing Spiderman actor is currently residing in a medical facility where he is undergoing various tests.

Jamie also publicly thanked Kelly Osbourne and Nick Cannon for covering for him and his daughter on Beat Shazam.

The Hollywood actor said: “Thank you so much @nickcannon and @kellyosbourne for filling in this season! We are so pumped for season six!"

Charles Alston earlier this week asked people to pray for his friend and said: “We need you back Bro”.

He continued: "As I always state a true champion isn't the one that wins, it's the one that meets & overcomes adversity!! You're test becomes your testimony!!

"We all can't wait to receive you back home to celebrate, laugh with and applaud you!!"

A source revealed to Radar Online that it was “touch and go” as to whether the Hollywood actor was going to survive the medical emergancy.

They said: “Jamie suffered a serious medical episode and needed immediate attention. It was touch and go for days with him, and he had to be revived — he is very lucky to be alive!”

Filming for the movie is thought to have hit some bumps in the last months, as Jamie was reported to have had a "meltdown" on set, which "led to multiple people being fired".

A source told The Sun: “There have been some issues on set and Jamie has had a major meltdown over it all.

“He demanded the problems be sorted immediately and sacked four of the production staff — as if that would magically improve the situation.”

The movie is Hollywood legend Cameron's first foray back into acting since she 'retired' in 2018, in order to focus on family life with her husband, Benji Madden and their three year old daughter, Raddix.
