Jamie Laing reveals the only celebrity ‘wellness hack’ he uses as he parodies lifestyle brands

Jamie Laing has exclusively revealed the one piece of celebrity lifestyle advice he has taken as he pokes fun at celebrity wellness trends in a new campaign with his sweet brand Candy Kittens.

The 32 year old has launched The Sweet Life, an initiative that encourages people to lead a balanced lifestyle and be kinder to themselves.

His Candy Kittens website has transformed into a parody merchandise store, providing everything from a £30 sweet eating spoon to a £75 bottle of the Made In Chelsea star's own breath.

However, not all is what it seems, and fans are encouraged to take a nap, walk or bath to make themselves feel better, instead of spending ludicrous amounts on "wellness" merchandise.

Jamie has opened up exclusively to OK! online about why he has decided to launch the campaign, and even get nude for the teaser video.

He explained: "Over at CKHQ, we noticed that for everyone, and our younger audience in particular, there's been increased pressure for us to come out of lockdown having changed our lives. Sculpt this. Detox that. Become bilingual masters of meditation.

"There's no denying the past year has been incredibly tough and taking care of yourself has become more important than ever.

"The Sweet Life is all about helping to bring people some joy and positivity. Telling them we think they're already awesome and that they don't need to overhaul their lives, spend hundreds of pounds on wellness products or change who they are to feel good.

"Sometimes, the simpler things like a nice walk, a long hot bath and, ultimately, a balanced life that allows you to have that occasional sweet treat is enough!"

Jamie admits he has been duped into all types of celebrity wellness "hacks" during his 10 years in the limelight, but has only ever stuck to once piece of advice.

"I've tried my hand at all kinds of diets and regimes over the years. I once tried a juice cleanse. I was meant to do it for four days but only lasted a day and a half! It was awful! I don't bother with all that stuff anymore. I just love getting outside and having adventures, having fun and being a bit of a kid.

"That's what The Sweet Life mindset is all about – helping people feel empowered to say no to things they're not comfortable with and say yes to things that genuinely make them happy.

"There are some great practices out there though that can really help and don't cost a penny. I interviewed Wim Hof for my podcast and was inspired to try cold therapy. Every morning I have a hot shower, then turn it cold for 30 seconds to a minute.

"My sleep has improved, and my stress levels are down. It's amazing, and completely free!"

Discussing stripping completely nude for The Sweet Life's teaser video, Jamie continued: "It was surprisingly comfortable, and I felt quite liberated. Although I'm not too sure the crew felt the same way! I can't believe they blurred out my bum, though! That's my best asset!"
