Jenny Ryan is a regular face on ITV’s popular quiz show The Chase alongside firm favourites Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Paul Sinha, Anne Hegerty and more recently Darragh Ennis. The quizmaster, who is otherwise known as The Vixen, puts contestants through their paces when they go up against the Chaser while exuding a calm demeanour and dishing out witty remarks.

The 39-year-old took to Twitter and revealed that quizzing is not her only strong trait as the small-screen star has more than one string to her bow.

The quizmaster previously competed on The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019 where she showcased her impressive vocal abilities but her talents do not stop there.

Taking to the micro-blogging site, Jenny reacted to her self-confessed “doppelganger” and comedian Angela Barnes.

The Mock of the Week panellist vented about an article which offered bridal advice to women aged over 40.

In view of her 39,000 followers, Angela penned: “I accidentally looked at an article about advice for over 40s brides. And I can say with absolute certainty that it can all f*** right off.

“I do not want to be elegant and timeless. I want to be loud, fun and a little bit trashy.”

The Chase quizmaster took the opportunity to reveal her pal was in luck.

In view of her 92,500 followers, Jenny replied: “FYI your doppelganger here is a fully qualified wedding planner.”

Angela responded: “Now you tell me!”

Jenny added: “It’s all there on my LinkedIn!”

The quizmaster revealed that she had attended the Wedding Planner School ahead of her time on The Chase.

Jenny, who joined the quiz programme in 2015, previously wrote questions for popular gameshows including The Chase.

Meanwhile, the quizmaster recently shared some exciting news as the Bolton-born brainiac is set to flex her singing talent in a new West End show.

Scrubs to Sparkles is a one-off show focusing on the musical journey of Dr Ranj Singh.

The British doctor, television presenter, author, columnist and former Strictly Come Dancing star has now turned to the West End stage.

While he is the star of the show, many celebrity guests will also be invited along for the show – including Jenny.

Taking to Twitter, the Chase star retweeted a post from Dr Ranj which detailed his new gig.

He penned: “So here’s the big news… I’m going to be in my own WEST END SHOW.

“#ScrubsToSparkles will be hosted by @GethincJones with special guest appearances including @JManrara @Faye_Tozer @jenlion – and more!”

Jenny replied simply stating: “Squeals!”

The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm.
