Emily Clarkson reacted to Nadia Sawalha’s Instagram video, who angrily criticised Matt Hancock, 42, for going against his own social distancing guidelines after a video of him enjoying a passionate moment with his married aide Gina Coladangelo was leaked. The pair’s encounter is said to have taken place in May, when the nation was advised to keep a safe distance from those they don’t live with.
In view of her 447,000 Instagram followers, the Loose Women panellist slammed the now former Health Secretary and hit out at Boris Johnson, who delayed freedom day, in a five minutes video.
Downing Street said Prime Minister Boris Johnson had accepted Hancock’s apology and “considers the matter closed”.
Many of her fans flocked to her post to comment, including Jeremy Clarkson’s daughter Emily.
The latter pointed out how many were advised to stay away from loved ones, including those in care homes, in line with Government guidance.
Due to the ongoing uncertainty of Covid-19, she also had to postpone her wedding to husband-to-be Alex Andrew.
She wrote on the post: “Omg I love you this was the state I was in last weekend watching the F*****G FOOTBALL after having read ALW’s statements, pushed my own wedding, heard heartbreaking stories of people who lost loved ones and COULDN’T BE THERE, zoom funerals, my aunt alone in a care home.
“If lockdown is over it’s over.
“If it isn’t then put your tongue back in your mouth, empty the stadiums and practise what you fkn preach. UGGHHHHHH. anyway.(sic)
“Love you, thanks for this and for being you.”
Amanda Holden also shared her thoughts in the comments, by writing: “This is brilliant brilliant brilliant I’m RAGING TOOOOO.
“I don’t know why we’re all accepting this s**t anymore, 19th July MY A**E.”

Matt, who married wife Martha in 2006, has since resigned from his position.
In a video on Twitter, he said: ”I have been to see the prime minister to resign as secretary of state for health and social care.
“I understand the enormous sacrifices that everybody in this country has made, that you have made, and those of us who make these rules have got to stick by them and that’s why I have got to resign.”
He has since been replaced by Sajid Javid.
Elsewhere, Boris has addressed lifting the final lockdown restrictions on July 19.
He said: “Although there are some encouraging signs and the number of deaths remains low and the number of hospitalisations remains low – though both are going up a bit – we are seeing an increase in cases.
“So we think it’s sensible to stick to our plan to have a cautious but irreversible approach, use the next three weeks or so really to complete as much as we can of that vaccine rollout.
“And then with every day that goes by it’s clearer to me and all our scientific advisers that we’re very likely to be in a position on 19 July to say that really is the terminus and we can go back to life as it was before Covid as far as possible.”
