Resilient Jeremy Renner continues to make strides after horrific snow plow accident as he gets through physical therapy before golf date with daughter
Jeremy Renner continues to take huge strides towards a full recovery following his New Year’s Day accident that nearly cost him his life.
On Saturday, some five-and-a-half months into his recovery after suffering more than 30 broken bones, the Hollywood leading man took to his Instagram page and gave his 20.8 million fans and followers an update on his rehabilitation.
But not before revealing that he was able to enjoy some quality family time with his 10-year-old daughter Ava, whom he co-parents with his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco, during an afternoon of golfing together.
‘Glorious day for a daddy daughter date,’ he gushed below the photo of Ava taking a shot on the green, just a few feet from the hole.
His only child can be seen from behind dressed in denim shorts and gray t-shirt and white sneakers just moments before trying to sink the ball in the hole.

It turns out the Hurt Locker star’s day with his daughter wasn’t all play and no work.
In his next post on his Instagram Stories Renner revealed that he and Ava ‘also did PT exercises together!!’
He proceeded to share a few videos of himself working out on various devices that are part of his rehabilitation following his scary accident.
One of the machine’s made it look like he was dancing, which he promptly let his fans and followers know that wasn’t the case.
‘Not dancing I promise, he wrote at the bottom of the clip, adding, ‘ High intensity vibration machine.’
It appears Ava also helped with the filming of the social media clips that included a look at him doing squats with weights
‘[I’m] just acting as of my leg isn’t broken,’ he joked in the caption of the clip showing him squatting down while hold the small hand weight.
Compared to his shaky walking not long after the accident, the Modesto, California native looks to have vastly improved, considering how much more stable he seems with his balance

Just hours after ringing in the new year of 2023, Renner’s chest was crushed and his upper torso collapsed when he was pulled under a seven-ton snow plow near his Lake Tahoe property.
He had been trying to pull his nephew’s vehicle from the snow in his driveway when the horrifying incident occurred.
Renner was heard in agony in a 911 call following the accident, which resulted in him being airlifted to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, where he was initially listed in ‘critical but stable condition.’
He ended up suffered nearly three dozen broken bones, not to mention also the cuts, scraps and bruising.
Once he was stable and got some recovery days behind himself, the Avengers star started sharing updates on his condition and rehabilitation via social media, including a January 21 post showing him in physical therapy for his legs.
‘Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular new years …. Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love,’ began the star.

Eventually in mid-April, Renner improved enough that he was able to walk hand-in-hand with Ava at the premiere of his Disney+ series mini-series Rennervations, which chronicles him helping charities by reconstructing decommissioned vehicles for new uses.
He also made his guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier in the week, which began with the actor doing a little dance with his cane as he made his way to his chair for the interview.
And just a few weeks ago Renner paid a visit to the medical staff that he believes ‘saved his life’ after he was crushed by that 14,000-pound snow plow on New Year’s Day.
The actor would spend a few hours thanking people at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, which is near his lavish Lake Tahoe abode.
