Dame Joan Collins, 88, made her views very clear on “easily-offended snowflakes”, admitting she comes down pretty firmly on the ‘anti’ side of the woke wars. The Dynasty actress also blasted cancel culture as “sick”, following the disavowing of Winston Churchill last year and her close pal Piers Morgan’s exit from Good Morning Britain.
[I] hate the way they are disavowing Churchill, who saved us, saved us from the Nazis

In a new interview, the screen legend admitted if it hadn’t been for the former Prime Minister, the UK would be run by the Nazis.
“[I] hate the way they are disavowing Churchill, who saved us, saved us from the Nazis,” she said.
“I was too young at the time to realise, but they were on our doorstep.”
Joan retorted: “If it hadn’t been for Churchill, we would all be walking around with swastikas!”
Reverting her attention to Piers, she has joined calls for him to be brought back to breakfast telly.
After storming off-set then subsequently exiting the show in March earlier this year, the outspoken presenter made headlines across the country.
It comes after over 50,000 people complained to TV regulator Ofcom, whose investigation resulted in a victory for Piers, over his comments on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.
She sighed as she confessed mornings haven’t been the same without him.
“He’s more interesting than any of them,” she shrugged as she spoke to the Daily Star.
“People can’t say what they think, because they’ll get cancelled.”
Joan added: “Dredging up tweets from 15 years ago about what somebody might have said when they were 14… I think that’s sick.”
Recently, the beloved Hollywood star squashed the notion of retirement in a blistering admission as she spoke about her new book.
She hit back at the idea in a recent interview, branding it “f**king rude”.
Joan, who first began her career back in 1951 at the age of 17, has been busy promoting her new book My Unapologetic Diaries about her life in front of the screen however, she recoiled at the idea of retiring from the limelight any time soon.
Speaking in a recent interview, Joan admitted she doesn’t like the word “retire”.
After being asked whether she’d thought about “putting her feet up” by the Sunday Times, she snapped: “I think that’s a f***ing rude question.
“Don’t f***ing ask me that question, don’t use that word, ‘retire.'”
When the interviewer explained they were just wondering what’s next for her, Joan then opened up about what she disagreed with.
She added: “Us who have gotten older feel like we are allowed to work in a profession that has to use older people.
“There’s a perception about getting old that’s outdated. People are living longer and living healthier.”
