The model and ‘The Kissing Booth’ actor, who made their relationship public on Halloween last year with their couple’s costume, are going separate ways ‘amicably.’
AceShowbiz –Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi have reportedly called it quits. The model and the Australian actor went their separate ways less than two months after making their relationship red carpet official.
A source confirmed to Page Six that the 20-year-old model/actress and “The Kissing Booth” actor broke up. However, the source said that their split was “amicable” despite the catwalk beauty appearing to have deleted several photos of her ex-boyfriend from her Instagram account. However, they still follow each other on the photo-sharing platform.
The breakup news came less than two months after Kaia and Jacob made their red carpet debut. On September 25, the stars arrived as a couple at the star-studded Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ opening gala in Los Angeles.
Kaia and the “Euphoria” star had been linked since September 2020 after they were photographed having dinner together at Nobu restaurant in Malibu, California. The 24-year-old actor was said to still be in a relationship with Zendaya Coleman at the time.
The former couple then made their relationship Instagram official on Halloween that year with their couple’s costume. Jacob dressed as Elvis Presley, while Kaia went as his ex-wife Priscilla Presley.
In May, Kaia made her comments about their relationship for the first time. “He’s a great person for me to go to because he’s gone to drama school and has years of experience that I don’t have,” the star of “American Horror Story” season 10 told Vogue of Jacob. “So I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m definitely going to be using you as a resource.’ “
“Being able to be with someone I trust, where we don’t want anything from each other, having a safe, steady relationship like that, has really opened my eyes to the possibilities of love and what it feels like to love without conditions,” Kaia added. The daughter of Cindy Crawford further elaborated, “Lust is touching other people or wanting them, but love is really seeing someone.”
