Kate Lawler has shared an update on her baby girl after she was rushed to intensive care with ‘breathing issues’.
The Big Brother winner, 40, welcomed her first child with fiancé Martin – who she refers to as Boj – on February 11, but they were kept in hospital over a health scare with the little one.
Taking to Instagram, the new mum offered an adorable compilation video of her family, telling fans they were finally home from the hospital following a tough few days.
‘Five days ago at 2:01pm on 11.02.2021, our beautiful daughter arrived and although we only got home from hospital earlier this evening, we’re hopeful tomorrow’s visit from the midwife means we’re home for good,’ she began the lengthy caption.
‘I’ll tell you more about her journey so far as soon as I can string a sentence together but for now… We’d love you all to meet our little girl… Noa Daisy Ilse.’
‘In case you’re wondering about her name, if you listen to our podcast, you’ll know from the earlier episodes of Maybe Baby that we chose this name as soon as we discovered we were having a girl.

‘We came across the name Noa after meeting Boj’s cousin’s wife when they came to visit from Israel a few years ago.’
‘It’s a popular female name over there and is pronounced just like the name Noah,’ she continued. ‘Her middle name Daisy is a name we also both love and her other middle name ILSE was the name of Boj’s grandma. When we told Boj’s Mum we were having a girl, she told us Boj’s Grandma’s birthday was a couple of days before Noa’s due date.
‘Ilse passed away on Boj’s 12th birthday and they were very close so this name it means a lot to our family. Noa will take Boj’s last name which he doesn’t share online (the one bit of privacy he has left thanks to me).’
Kate concluded the post: ‘We are so happy to be home and want to thank you all your messages of love.
‘I’m so sorry if we’ve not responded but the past five days have been completely unexpected and overwhelming. Lots of love. Kate, Boj & Noa x.’

Right on cue, famous friends and fans rushed to congratulate the reality star on the happy news.
Giovanna Fletcher penned: ‘What a beauty!!! Welcome to the world Noa! Xxx.’
‘What a beautiful girl,’ Gaby Roslin agreed. ‘Welcome to the world Noa.’
Towie’s Lauren Pope commented: ‘Aw she’s absolutely gorgeous, huge congratulations.’
‘I don’t think I’ve ever been happier for someone I’ve never met! Noa is beautiful! You two are going to ace this – even on days when you feel like you’re not,’ a follower added.
‘She was meant to be yours and you hers. Sending you all lots of love.’
Kate, who shot to fame in 2002 thanks to her winning stint in the infamous house, previously opened up about little Noa’s health scare, which came after a ‘wonderful, complication-free abdominal birth’.
In another Instagram post she explained that, shortly after her arrival, the newborn was having ‘issues with her breathing’, but doctors informed her that this wasn’t uncommon for babies who were delivered abdominally.
‘Thankfully our little lady improved quite quickly, coming off oxygen last night and onto assisted air,’ she said.
’At 2:30am this morning I was finally mobilised, had my catheter out, had a wash, brushed my teeth and walked to the baby unit where I was able to hold my daughter skin on skin and she breastfed for two hours from 5:30-7:30 which was beautiful, very calming and she latched to both sides.’
