Kate Middleton has shared a peek inside her new photo book Hold Still just one day after Meghan Markle announced her own children's book.
Prince William's wife, who is a Royal patron of the National Portrait Gallery, took to the official Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Instagram account to post a short clip of book which features a collection of 100 photographs depicting the UK during the coronavirus lockdown.
The snaps were taken during a six-week period during May and June and focused on three main themes – Helpers and Heroes, Your New Normal and Acts of Kindness.
Launching on 7 May, 39 year old Kate decided to give fans a glimpse into its contents, with photos showing NHS nurses in full blue scrubs, Captain Sir Tom Moore, rainbows drawn on pavements thanking the NHS, people hugging and more.
In the caption, she wrote: "Coming this Friday… #HoldStill2020," with a books emoji.
Many of her followers were quick to praise the initiative as one person commented: "I can't wait!!! I'm so proud of Catherine," followed by a red heart emoji.
"What a beautiful project Kate, we are so proud that our duchess is going to release a book which profits will go to charities [red heart emoji] Always working for others and not for her own interest," a second said, alongside a clapping hands emoji.
While a third added: "Such a lovely initiative!"
It comes just one day after it was revealed the Duchess of Sussex has written a children's book inspired by her husband Prince Harry and Archie's father-son bond.
Titled The Bench, Meghan, who is celebrating her baby boy's birthday today, penned the book after writing a poem for her 36 year old husband for Father's day. Meghan’s book features adorable water colour illustrations by award-winning artist Christian Robinson.

Speaking of the literature Meghan, who may have got royal protocol over Archie's title wrong, said: “The Bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father's Day, the month after Archie was born. That poem became this story.
“Christian layered in beautiful and ethereal watercolour illustrations that capture the warmth, joy and comfort of the relationship between fathers and sons from all walks of life.
“This representation was particularly important to me and Christian and I worked closely to depict this special bond through an inclusive lens.

“My hope is that The Bench resonates with every family, no matter the make up, as much as it does with me.”
The book’s cover shows an illustration from artist Christian and shows the image of a bench underneath a green, leafy tree which has a little blue bird perched on one of its branches.
More little birds are seen placed in front of the bench, while a red-breasted bird is seen flying away from the tree in the image. On the front is the title and soon-to-be mum-of-two Meghan’s name as the author. It reads: ”The Bench By Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex”.
