Kate Middleton’s mum Carole looked radiant in pink as she attended Royal Ascot with her husband Michael.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s parents dressed up smart for an appearance at the annual horse racing event, which sees both members of the public and royalty alike wear some of their most upmarket fashion pieces for the sporting competition.
Carole, 67, looked elegant in a pink silk shirt dress featuring a tied belt at the waist and pleat detailing down the front.
The dress, which is by designer ME+EM, is also a favourite of Kate’s, who wore the same one to meet a five-year-old cancer patient called Mila at Holyrood House in May of last year.
Alongside her dress, Carole also wore a large black fascinator and held a simple clutch bag under her arm, as well as wearing some delicate gold jewellery to finish her look.

Husband Michael, 72, looked dapper in a traditional top hat and tail suit with pinstripe trousers, along with a smart waist-coat and tie.
The couple looked to be enjoying their day out as they chatted with fellow racing fans in the stands.
They were not joined by daughter Kate, however many other members of the royal family were out in force, with the exception of the Queen, who had to miss the event due to her ongoing mobility issues.
Royals at the event included Prince Charles and Camilla, who were joined by Duchess of Cornwall were in attendance alongside a host of other royals – including Princess Anne and her two children Peter Philips and Zara Tindall, Countess Sophie Wessex and Princess Beatrice, who was joined by her husband Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi.
Her Majesty is a huge fan of the annual racing event and, prior to the pandemic, had been in attendance at every race between 1952 and 2020.
She was reported to have watched the race from her home several miles away at Windsor Castle, especially as her horse King’s Lynn competed.
It comes after Prince William and Kate, along with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are upping sticks and moving to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, according to new reports.
The family are said to be swapping life in the city for a more rural choice and saying goodbye to Kensington Palace and all that London has to offer.
The couple are reportedly set to have no live-in staff, and after months of searching for the perfect property, have insisted that they didn't want anything "too showy" or "that needs renovating", settling on the four bed cottage in the grounds of Windsor Estate.
A source told the Sun: "Kate and William were very keen for a modest home to start their new lives in Windsor.
“They were adamant they didn’t want anything too showy or anything that needed renovating or extra security so as not to be a burden on the taxpayer.
“The added bonus is they can send George, Charlotte and Louis to school together locally. The three children will enjoy running around and playing in the gardens, which is the kind of life they enjoy so much when at Anmer Hall."
