Katie Price revealed that the renovation of her Sussex mansion is due to be filmed by Channel 4.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Katie announced the news as she wrote: “So excited that the renovation of my house is now being filmed by Channel 4 starting tomorrow all the way through to October so now lets get started everyone [love heart emojis].”
The four-month project will see Katie clear rooms, design, and do floor plans for the six-bedroom house with fiancé Carl Woods.
The TV star already appears on Channel 4 show Steph’s Packed Lunch and clearly has a good relationship with the channel.
Katie and her fiance Carl have created a new Instagram account to document the renovation for fans.
The 43 year old recently said that she “loves pink interiors” – perhaps giving a hint of what she hopes the inside of the house will look like.
The £1.3 million Sussex property was ransacked by trespassers earlier this year, creating thousands of pounds worth of damage.
Katie reportedly believed it to be a targeted attack, with a source telling The Sun at the time: “Katie is devastated. She is fearful that whoever has done this has a vendetta against her and even thinks it could be linked to her standing up against social media bullying trolls.”
Katie has created a petition to make verified ID a requirement for opening a social media account, which has been signed over 176,000 times.
The petition was created to help Katie in her fight against online trolling, after her disabled son Harvey became a target for nasty internet trolls.
Harvey, 19, who has Prader-Willi Syndrome and autism, appeared with mum Katie on Good Morning Britain on Monday with Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley, where he melted viewers hearts after an accidental set design crash.
Harvey appeared via video link with Katie, who relayed messages of support for him after his nomination for a National Television Award.
He then blew a kiss and said: “Hi, everyone. We're on TV, I'll miss you forever.”
At one point a large piece of fabric lighting equipment fell onto Harvey. While painless, the disruption left the teen confused, but mum Katie stepped in to ensure he stayed calm, telling him loudly that everything was ok.
Harvey admitted to enjoying watching his mum on Loose Women as well as her YouTube channel.
Harvey said: “Thank you guys, everyone! You’re absolutely beautiful and gorgeous,” before leaving the screen.
Susanna responded: “I love him, let’s just have Harvey on every morning!” while Richard called him a “tonic” for a Monday morning.
