Katie Price has set her sights on Olympics glory by revealing she hopes to compete in the Paris 2024 games.

The 43 year old is a keen horse rider and has been inspired by the British Eventing team's success at Tokyo 2020 after they scored a history making four medals – including one gold – between them.

Oliver Townend, Laura Collett and Tom McEwen competed in the dressage, cross country and show jumping competitions riding Ballaghmor Class, London 52 and Toledo De Kerser respectively.

Former glamour model Katie has now sent her congratulations to the team and revealed they have inspired her to take part in the next games.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a post celebrating the team's achievements with her 2.6million followers.

She wrote: "This is amazing first time In 50 years …I so want to compete in the next Olympics in the equestrian," alongside three red love heart emojis.

Katie first announced she wanted to take part in the Olympics in 2008, but did not pursue London 2012, Rio 2016 or the the delayed Tokyo 2020 games.

She said in May last year: "I have come a long way in the past few months.

"I feel reborn. I have positive plans for the future. I still hope to get that Olympic gold. I'm setting the bar high as always. See it, dream it and it will happen."

Katie recently shared footage of herself being refused further surgery by a doctor in Turkey when she jetted out earlier this year for a body transformation.

She underwent hours of surgery which included a full body liposuction, eye and lip lifts, having fat injected into her bum and liposuction under her chin.

But the facelift she had also hoped to have was one step too far for the doctor who, in her consultation ahead of her surgery, told her her skin was "too tight" for the procedure.

The doctor is shown telling her that the "only thing" he can do for her forehead is Botox.

"It's not good for your face, your skin is too tight," he says.

Katie then tells viewers: "So here's me thinking I'm going to have a facelift here and here, but he doesn't recommend it and he's the surgeon.

"I could sit here now and say: 'No, I want it like that' but then he wouldn't be a good surgeon – because there are surgeons out there who will say: 'Yeah, I'll do it.'"
