Kaz Crossley returns to work after being released from jail in Dubai

Kaz Crossley appears to have thrown herself into work after returning to the UK following her alleged arrest in Dubai.

The Love Island star is said to have been arrested and jailed in the city – which has a zero tolerance approach to drug and alcohol offences – earlier this week, before being released on Thursday, 16 February.

Her arrest is believed to have been in relation to a historic video of her sniffing a white substance during a previous trip there.

Now looking to be back on home soil, Kaz, 28, has been quick to return to her Muay Thai club to attend a Combat Collective class.

In a snap shared to the group’s Instagram on Saturday 18 January, Kaz could be seen posing with a group of other women proudly showing off their boxing gloves.

The caption next to the photo read: “Our beginners Muay Thai program of 2023 kicked off today with our amazing new coaches @emmakingsleyldn @claudiaharrington__ @teamtieuofficial.

“We also have open level running in @gymboxofficial on different days and locations led by @floattuss & @elenacresci.”

“Loving the energy and new faces,” it went on.

While Kaz didn’t appear to be teaching the class, she seemed to be in good spirits following her gruelling workout as she smiled for the camera.

Following her scary arrest this week, a friend of Kaz’s spoken to The Sun about the ordeal and said she branded the prison as a “hell hole”.

Kaz allegedly told her pal: “I was locked up with 30 other women, and had no idea why I was there for days – nobody would help me. It was the most terrifying experience of my life.”

They added to the publication: “She’s very shaken up, the very worst thoughts were going through her mind.”

Meanwhile, Kaz herself broke her social media silence to tell fans that she was “safe”.

“I am safe, thank you for all your kind messages,” the 28 year old wrote on her Instagram Story.

"I want to take some time to reflect before I comment on the past few days. Grateful for so much right now. We are so blessed…"

Kaz is thought to have been arrested at Abu Dhabi airport while she was waiting for a transfer flight to Thailand.

The former Love Island star spends a lot of time in the country where she has helped raise money to erect a house, school and gym for children there.
