Kehlani Shares Their Side of Story After TikToker Christian Walker Calls Them Out at Starbucks

The ‘Gangsta’ singer reveals that they were just warning the Starbucks employees after the controversial conservative influencer was ranting about gay flags and trans flags at the coffee shop.

AceShowbizKehlani is speaking further about their encounter with TikTok star Christian Walker after the latter called them out during an encounter at Starbucks. Accused of branding the controversial conservative influencer an “a**hole,” the singer broke down what led to the confrontation.

“I wasn’t gonna say anything. I wasn’t gonna address it. But I think we should tell the truth,” Kehlani began in their video.” The singer then recalled seeing Christian looking angry while filming the Starbucks shop from his own car. “I see behind me that kid Christian Walker visibly losing his s**t in the car.”

“This Starbucks is covered in gay flags, trans flags,” the “Beautiful Lies” songstress explained what triggered Christian. “I see him losing his s**t the whole time.” The R&B artist claimed that the social media influencer was “harassing” the person who received his order while he was filming it.

Claiming that they felt like he was going to come up to the window and harass the workers, Kehlani, who said they’re a frequent at the Starbucks shop, warned the workers about what Christian would be saying to the employees. That’s when Christian came to them and started recording them.

Kehlani then accused Christian of trying to use them to gain some clout. “You want to get a reaction out of me so that you can go viral,” they said in the video, before pointing out that after Christian aired out their encounter, people have been branding them “leftist singer.”

Earlier on Wednesday, July 13, Christian claimed in his video that Kehlani called him the “asshole from TikTok” at Starbucks. In a video which he posted online, he yelled before approaching the singer who was sitting in her car, “Everyone’s entitled to an opinion – you’re so rude, or you wouldn’t be telling barista workers that I’m an a**hole.”

“Get your drink and go away. I can have an opinion like everybody else. Why are you entitled to an opinion and not me,” he continued saying while Kehlani remained calm. “You’re the a**hole. Get your drink and go.”

He then posted on his Instagram Story, “I was just listening to a Kehlani song yesterday. Sister girl didn’t know who she was dealing with.” He added, “Don’t let the givenchy and smile fool you, I will step out of the car.”

On Twitter, Christian called out Kehlani as a “mediocre singer that everyone’s forgotten about,” adding that he’s “tired of these fake woke people being rude to everyone and acting like they’re the good ones.”

He didn’t stop there as he posted an Instagram post addressing their run-in. “Leftist singer, Kehlani, felt the need to ‘warn’ baristas in the drive-thru about me, calling me an ‘a hole’ multiple times,” he wrote in the caption. “Apparently, she was worried about the ‘safety’ of the baristas being around such a person like me (a conservative).”

“She really demonstrated how great of a person SHE is by calling me names and pointing before I rolled my window down,” he sarcastically said. “Isn’t it always interesting that the ‘tolerant, loving, and inclusive’ people always are the furthest thing from any of those traits?”

Kehlani initially responded by writing on their Stories, “Gotta let the fools, fool.” They added, “I would like to end this with- I was on a virtual therapy session that entire time. therapy works babes i’m proof.”

“Couldn’t give him what he wanted. gotta pray for folks!” they added after The Shade Room posted about their encounter. “He was circling the starbucks for 10 minutes losing his mind into his phone behind me, I told the starbucks folks he was approaching with his camera out about to continue. it wasn’t this deep [crying laughing emoji].”

Kehlani has since received support from their fans for keeping collected during the confrontation. “Kehlani looking radiant and unbothered while Christian Walker is pressed and distressed,” one user wrote. “We win!”
