When speaking in a new interview, the 37-year-old TV personality divulges that her rocker father Ozzy Osbourne reveals ‘the gender of [her] baby before [she] ever got the chance to.’
AceShowbiz –Kelly Osbourne has revealed the sex of her unborn child. The daughter of Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne revealed in a new interview that she and her boyfriend Sid Wilson are expecting a baby boy.
When speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the pregnant star divulged that her dad Ozzy spilled the beans first to people around her. “I mean, he’s told everyone,” she said, “….the gender of my baby before I ever got the chance to, and I’m just like, ‘Aww Dad, come on. Like, come on.’ “
“But I will say, every single day he does this little song and this little dance about how excited he is, and he is so excited that it’s a boy,” the 37-year-old added. “It’s the first — out of me and my brother, it’s the first boy, so, he’s like planning all these things.”
Kelly, who is “really excited” about welcoming her first child, went on to reveal that her “parents have been incredible and been with me every step of the way” on her pregnancy journey. She explained, ” ‘Cause my boyfriend is in a band, they tour, so, he’s hardly been here, so, every milestone I’ve kinda gone through with my dad.”
“And he’s been great, even though he sometimes says the wrong thing,” the TV personality further elaborated. “I’ll walk into the room and he’ll go, ‘Wow, you’re big.’ and I’m like, ‘Thanks, Dad.’ “
The “Fashion Police” alum announced her pregnancy May. Posting some photos of her holding a sonogram picture, she gushed, “I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why… I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!”
In late September, Kelly opened up about one of the challenges amid her journey to becoming a mom. When appearing on “Red Table Talk”, she told co-hosts Jada Pinkett Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris, “One of the things that I have realized is that there’s so much judgement in motherhood.”
“Like, I have chosen to stay on my medication instead of breastfeeding and the judgment that I have received from my friends and also extended family being like, ‘Oh you’re gonna miss out on that bonding period,’ ” the English native continued. “And I’m like, ‘Don’t you think I know that?’… What kind of mother am I gonna be if I start going backwards, if I start being self-destructive?”
Eventually, Kelly realized that she “can’t pay attention” to other people’s opinions. “It has to be what’s best for me, what’s gonna be the best for my baby,” she stated.
