Kelsey Parker has paid tribute to her late husband, Tom Parker, after his book has become a best seller in the Sunday Times.
Tom was just 33 when he tragically passed away in March, following an 18-month battle with brain cancer.
He left behind his heartbroken wife and ‘soulmate’ Kelsey, and their two children, daughter Aurelia, two, and son Bodhi, one.
Tom and Kelsey were open and honest about their journey with the former The Wanted boyband member’s cancer.
Since Tom’s death, Kelsey has continued to open up about her tough journey on coping with life after his untimely passing.
She took to Instagram today to share a video of his book, named ‘Hope’, which was surrounded by polaroid snaps of the couple with their children, and other snaps of him with his The Wanted bandmates.
In her heartbreaking caption, Kelsey wrote: “My husband… a Sunday Times no 1 best selling author. Beyond proud of my love."
She continued: “What I’d give to celebrate with you one more time @tomparkerofficial."
Referring to the celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee over the weekend, she wrote: “You would have loved the 4 day weekend and excuse to celebrate this weekend."
She ended the note, writing: “I Miss you every second of every day," and “Positive Parkers Forever” – which became their mantra during Tom’s cancer ordeal.
In the weeks before he died, Tom announced that he had written a book about his battle with brain cancer, and told fans it was "not about dying: It’s a book about living".
His full message to announce his memoir read: “Hi, I’m Tom Parker, a lot of you know me as one fifth of The Wanted, but I am also a father, a husband, and a son, that’s battling brain cancer.
“My book, coming this July, is not about dying: It’s a book about living. It’s a book about finding hope in whatever situation you’re dealt, and living your best life no matter what.”
A few days ago, Kelsey posted a tear-jerking video of herself and her children going to a bookshop to buy a copy of Tom’s book.
The video captured Aurelia and Bodhi getting excited at seeing their daddy’s face on the cover.
In the accompanying caption, Kelsey wrote: “A special moment… very proud to take our babies to see Tom’s book in store. Rae’s face when she saw his.
“Tom so desperately wanted this to be a bestseller and I’m keeping everything crossed that becomes a reality this weekend. Thank you so much for all your support and lovely comments. Every single purchase means the world to us.”
