Kerry Katona ‘gutted and cries eyes out’ as surgery is cancelled

After booking off the whole of January to recover from her corrective surgery, Kerry Katona has revealed her devastation over her procedures being cancelled.

The Atomic Kitten star writes in her exclusive column – only available for OK! VIPs – that she was "crying her eyes out" when she was informed her surgery couldn't go ahead. "I have booked the whole of January off around this surgery but, as you all know, I was really poorly over Christmas. The doctor saw on my notes that I'd been on antibiotics and, because of that, I couldn't go under as they have to be 100% sure I'll be OK," she revealed. Here, Kerry, 42, also talks about suffering from an injury on stage and why she thinks there's nothing wrong with having work done…

My Lilly is a star

I've been enjoying some downtime since the Panto ended, but I suffered an injury on stage during the last show. I was walking off the wings and I fell down a platform after tripping over. I really hurt my foot. I was crying in pain. It was a three-day show and it happened during the second show, so my Lilly stepped in for me and – oh my God – she was amazing. She literally had five minutes to get changed and get on stage. I was blown away by her. Thank God she was able to save the day! She needs to do more of this. If anyone wants someone for panto, call me and I'll send Lilly your way!

To pass time backstage at Cinderella, we were playing our own game of the BBC show The Traitors. I'm such a fan! One of my friends was the host and he did it all via text messages. It was so much fun. We all forgot our lines because we were too busy thinking about what to say to each other. There needs to be a celebrity version – I'd sign up straight away.

No surgery

As I told you last week, I was preparing to have corrective surgery on my stomach, as well as an eyelid lift, but sadly my operation was cancelled. I have booked the whole of January off around this surgery but, as you all know, I was really poorly over Christmas. The doctor saw on my notes that I'd been on antibiotics and, because of that, I couldn't go under as they have to be 100% sure I'll be OK.

I was crying my eyes out – I'm at home, I've cancelled all my work for weeks. But fair play to them for thinking about my health first. I'm grateful for that. I'm gutted though because I prepared myself. I'll be going for an X-ray and blood tests soon to make sure I'm OK to go ahead with the procedures. The problem is my workload, so I'll have to work around that too and figure out a new date.

Harry's truth

Caroline Flack's former agent has criticised Prince Harry for talking about their romance in his book Spare, while some of her friends have thanked him. I've got Harry's book and have also been listening to his audiobook. It's a memoir, he had a relationship with Caroline, so he is going to speak about it. There isn't anything wrong with that as long as he's respectful about their time together. Their relationship was a part of his life and it's happened. It's his story and his truth for the first time.

Go Helen

Helen Flanagan has had a boob job as she says she wanted to boost her confidence since her breasts sagged after having kids. Fair play to her! She's 32, she's had three kids and there's nothing wrong with wanting work done.

As soon as I hit 40, my whole body completely changed and I find it so much harder to shift weight. I've had my babies and I don't plan on having anymore, so why not have a few tweaks? It's Helen's body – and there's nothing wrong with doing what makes you happy.

S Club 7 are back

S Club 7 are set to reunite after splitting up in 2003. I am so happy for them. I’ve known them for years now – Jo is a lovely girl. I remember when Atomic Kitten toured with S Club in Australia for a month and we had such a great time with everyone. It was Tina, Bradley and Jo.

I don’t know the others very well, but Tina, Jo and Bradley are so lovely. I’m so happy they’re getting back together. Everyone loves a bit of S Club.
