Kerry Katona has opened up about an "awkward" reunion with ex-husband Brian McFadden as the pair celebrated their daughter Molly's 21st birthday.
Kerry, who turns 42 this week, jetted off to Ireland to attend a family party as Molly hit the milestone. But she's revealed that making headlines ahead of the bash – where she reunited with Brian – could have made things "awkward". Sign up – for free – to see what else Kerry has to say!

Time to celebrate
I’ve had a really busy week, but I’m not complaining! It’s all good and exciting. I’ve been filming something new. It’s a pilot show for Channel 4. That’s all I can say at the moment – sorry! – but I’ll let you know more when I can.
As I write my column this week, I’m on my way to Ireland for Molly’s birthday. I can’t believe my baby girl is going to be 21! We’re having a party and all her family and friends are going to be there.
She’s currently using Ryan’s old car, so she wants a new one for her birthday, but she won’t be getting it for a couple more months. We haven’t picked one yet. I think she wants a Range Rover, but it depends what we can afford.
Take a joke
I appeared on a podcast with YouTuber Shaun Attwood and some of my quotes made the headlines last week. I made a joke that my ex Brian McFadden proposed after three weeks because I’m so good in bed. For God’s sake, it was a joke, people! I use humour a lot and it’s just part of my personality – I like to take the p**s and I obviously wasn’t being serious.
The timing of the headlines wasn’t great as I’m going over to Ireland for Molly’s birthday and will be celebrating with Brian… awkward!
Another year older
It’s my birthday this week – I’ll be 42! I do worry about getting old. It’s nothing to do with ageing or the way I look, it’s the fear of not being around for my children. It really scares me. So I keep telling myself it’s just another day, it’s no big deal.
I’m not doing anything special for it. I think I’m going to go to Bongo’s Bingo at the weekend. I’ve never been before but I’ve heard it’s a good laugh. And then Ryan’s taking me to a hotel to enjoy a spa.
Out of this world
Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu has claimed she saw a UFO while on a trip to America. I 100% believe in aliens. We can’t be the only life in this universe, there has to be something else out there. I don’t understand how people don’t believe.
I’ve never seen anything myself, but I watch all the documentaries about it. I’m massively into learning about ancient history, I find it so interesting. We’re definitely not alone.
Cruel kids
Actor James Norton has revealed he was so badly bullied at school that he’s having therapy 20 years later. I can totally understand that. It’s so sad. Kids can be so cruel, which I think a lot of the time is a reflection on the parents. Your experience at school can have a massive impact on who you are.
I’m very fortunate that I loved every minute of school. When I look back, those were the best days of my life.
