It's been a busy week for Kerry Katona, with TV appearances and her daughter DJ's 8th birthday. Now, in her latest new magazine column, Kerry shares her views on everything from friendly divorces, to learning to ski at 41.
The Atomic Kitten singer – who is mum to Molly, 20, Lilly, 19, Heidi, 15, Max, 13, and DJ – also shares an apology for an ill thought out April Fool's Day joke, in which she posted a fake pregnancy announcement.

Keeping things civil in divorce
There have been some changes in the divorce law, meaning that you no longer have to blame your partner in order to get a divorce. I think this will see a massive change for a lot of people and divorce won’t be as big of a deal when it can be done in a much more civil way.
I have been divorced twice, which isn’t bad. I should have a degree in divorce by now! I was very young when I first got married. I think if you want to get married, get married. If you want a divorce, get a divorce. You only have one life.
It’s nothing to be ashamed of and this law change should help remove the stigma. We live in a society where everyone has an opinion, but you need to do what’s right for yourself.
Let it rip
There was a story in the news last week about a woman who was hospitalised after holding in her farts for two years around her boyfriend. I feel so sorry for this girl. I can’t imagine how painful that must have been.
If you don’t feel comfortable enough to fart in front of your partner, they don’t even deserve you. It’s hard to say when would be the right time to start being that open in a new relationship, but I would say a few months in. I don’t do it a lot around Ryan, but if I need to fart, I fart.
Snow good
As I told you before, we’ve started skiing lessons as a family at the Chill Factore in Manchester as we want to go on a ski holiday next February. We were back last week, and the kids are improving so much. Me? Not so much! But it’s great spending time together and doing something a bit different.
We also celebrated DJ’s eighth birthday. She had a lovely time and loved her new iPad. She cried her eyes out when we gave it to her after hers was stolen last year. It made us all cry! She was so grateful and so appreciative. That shows me what an awesome job I’ve done with my children.

June was brilliant
I was so sad to hear about the loss of EastEnders legend June Brown. I met June a couple of times and she was such a lovely lady. She made such an impact on so many people in the industry. She was funny, brilliant and very witty.
She was someone I looked up to – someone who didn’t give a damn about who you were. She was true to herself.
I remember seeing her at The British Soap Awards and she was smoking a cigarette under a table, which was very funny. But it was June Brown, they had to let her smoke where she wanted to smoke! She was truly awesome.
I'm so sorry
I just want to clear something up and apologise to everyone. I took part in an April Fool’s Day joke where I posted a picture of a baby scan on Instagram to prank Ryan.
I then got a lot of backlash for upsetting women who aren’t able to have children, or who have previously suffered miscarriages. I was called such vile things and it broke me down. People assume I haven’t had any struggles with fertility, but I have. I know the heartache. I have had an angel baby.
The joke was not intentionally cruel. It wasn’t aimed at miscarriages, or families struggling to get pregnant. I was just pranking Ryan. He rang me up and asked me about it, and I said, “Ryan, you know I’m on my period!”
My mum also rang me up and she was shaking. I felt dreadful after being trolled. I was filming Steph’s Packed Lunch at the time and I don’t know how I didn’t burst into tears during the show. I would never intentionally upset anyone.
