Lilly McFadden has revealed she turned down Love Island, after producers begged the stunning 18 year old to take part in this year's show.

Speaking exclusively to OK!, Lilly, whose parents are Kerry Katona and former Westlife singer Brian McFadden, says she loves the show – but admits the thought of being holed up with a harem of hunks would be her "worst nightmare".

'It's not a bit of me," she says. "Not in a rude way, it's a fun show, but if I was going to make a big TV debut it would not be with Love Island. Being romantic or getting my body out – it's not me. It's no diss to Love Island or the people who go on there but I hate PDAs. I had a boyfriend for two years and I would not let him touch me in public. We'd be down Spoons and he'd try and hold my hand and I wouldn't let him!"

"For most people, going in the villa, being surrounded by all those hunky men, it's a dream come true – for me, it'd be my worst nightmare."

But there's another reason Lilly wouldn't take part – she doesn't want to offend her nan, Brian's mum Mairead!

"I have a Catholic nan in Ireland!," Lilly laughs. "It would kill her if I went on the show! As for my dad, he couldn't say much if I did choose to go down that path – I'm 18 years old so he can't really have an opinion on what I do, but of course I'd take his thoughts into consideration. My mum would be fine with it, she's made me who I am and I know she'd support me no matter what. My dad's a bit more stubborn, though!"

The difference between Lilly and her mum's attitude to nudity on screen is huge. Kerry has made a huge success out of her Only Fans page, in which she bares all, but Lilly's in no hurry to go down a similar route.

"I wasn't massively keen on OnlyFans at first, but then I understand she's got to do what she has to do and now I'm comfortable with it. I support her no matter what," she says.

Lilly is keen to protect her future career, too. While she's excited to explore the world of showbiz and potentially follow in the footsteps of her famous parents, she's also got her eyes set on becoming a Human Rights lawyer, and has been accepted into two universities to study law.

"My friend says I'm gonna be changing the world, not my bikini!," Lilly tells us. "And who would take me seriously as a lawyer if I'd been on Love Island?" But her goals won't stop her dipping her toes in the entertainment industry as she figures out her next move.

"I want to test the waters in showbiz first, mainly because it's all I've ever known," she says. "My dream would be to do a big drama or even a horror film. I'd love to have a career like Millie Bobby Brown, she's an amazing actress and a UNICEF ambassador and that's an amazing balance that I'd like to strike too."
