If anyone out there is keeping an official résumé of North West’s talents (and, if there isn’t—any volunteers?), it’s time to add “pretty damn good artist” to the list.
Kim Kardashian revealed the extent of North’s artistic abilities in a new new video home tour for Vogue, which was themed around the “objects of her affection” (as in literally just some of her favorite objects she owns). The first thing on the list was North’s artwork, which is obviously a very relatable thing for a mom to cherish. Kim showed off some highlights from North’s portfolio in the video and, TBH, they’re not not impressive.
“So the first object of my affection is my daughter North’s paintings and drawings,” Kim explained before going into full Proud Mama mode and showing off some of her favorite North West original. “She’s a really really good artist and she loves to paint.”
“She did this about two years ago,” Kim added while showing off this landscape of a snow-kissed mountain (we’ll do the math for you—that means she was just six years old at the time).
Kim also showed off paintings North did of a wolf:
And the family’s bearded dragon:
But then things got a little LOL when Kim showed off a charcoal piece North did during what we will forever think of as her “emo phase” as an artist.
“Recently, North stayed home and had COVID,” Kim explained, giving a little history behind the piece. “So this is her drawing that she did in her room. It’s a charcoal, maybe that was just her emo mood.”
“So I love seeing like the personality and the moods and everything that she goes through and just feel like it’s really been an amazing hobby of hers,” Kim added at the end of the North’s Art segment of the video.
Now, please join us in manifesting the opening of North’s official Etsy store, because we can’t be alone in wanting some North’s Art merch, right?
