Days after her drummer husband was released from the hospital, the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ alum offers fans a look at his brand new ink that boasts the letter ‘K.’
AceShowbiz –Kourtney Kardashian is so proud of her inking skills. Having managed to doodle a tattoo of her own initial along with a heart on her husband Travis Barker‘s arm, the 43-year-old POOSH founder took her joy to her social media account and bragged about her “finest work” with her followers.
The former “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star made use of her Instagram account to show off her ink design on Wednesday, July 6. In a snap she shared via Instagram Story, her first initial, “K,” could clearly be seen etched alongside a small heart on her Blink-182 drummer husband’s arm.
Bragging about her masterpiece, the eldest of the Kardashian sisters also made sure everyone knows she was the one responsible for the art. “Some of my finest work,” she wrote in the caption of the photo, tagging her husband at the end of her message. Days prior to getting his latest tattoo from Kourtney, Travis was hospitalized for pancreatitis. The 46-year-old drummer was rushed to a medical center after he complained about “intense pain” in his abdomen. Fortunately, he was doing much better after getting intensive treatment. He has since been allowed to leave the hospital and to continue work.
Travis’ pancreatitis was believed to have been “triggered” by a recent colonoscopy. “During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe life threatening pancreatitis,” he explained in an Instagram Story post on July 2.
“The Kardashians” star’s husband went on to express his gratefulness to have been able to finally regain his health back. “I am so very very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better,” he concluded his message and added a praying hands emoji at the end.
Kourtney also thanked fans and the medical team for their love and support. “I am so grateful to God for healing my husband, for all of your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. I am so touched and appreciative. I am so so thankful to our specialists, doctors, and nurses at Cedars Sinai for taking such wonderful care of my husband and me during our stay,” the TV personality stated.
