Lauren Goodger looks sombre as she goes on charity walk after tragic loss of daughter

Former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has taken part in the Lullaby Trust charity walk, as she fundraises for the charity which raises awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDs) and offers emotional support for bereaved families.

The TV star, 36, tragically lost her baby daughter Lorena, who passed away just minutes after her birth earlier this year.

On her JustGiving page Lauren shared that she participated in the walk to "mark the memory" of Lorena.

She wrote: "Support me in Baby Loss Awareness Week (9-15th) as I mark the memory of my precious baby daughter Lorena, taken too soon, and in memory for all the other mothers, fathers, families, siblings and friends in grieving, who have also lost their most precious gifts.

"We come together to make a difference, for our little pieces of heaven that will never be forgotten.

"I am walking a Little Lights Walk this week to raise funds for The Lullaby Trust and in the memory of my baby girl, Lorena. RIP Lorena my little angel."

Photos from the event show Lauren pushing her one year old daughter Larose in a pram, as she wrapped up warm in a black coat, which she paired with a black and red scarf.

In one snap the TV star can be seen sipping on some hot chocolate, which she then sweetly shares with her daughter.

Lauren recently took to Instagram to share a special piece of necklace she had commissioned from Custom & Co Jewellers in tribute to both her daughters.

The gorgeous gold necklace features a pendant with Lorena’s footprint on the front, while Larose’s 3D feet hang from the chain further up.

Sharing a photo of this to her Instagram Story, Lauren wrote: " How lovely and personal is this made for me of Lorena’s footprint and Larose’s 3D feet. Check them out as perfect gift for Christmas."

Speaking to OK! about her tragic loss, Lauren shared that getting into bed is the most challenging part after putting on a “brave face” throughout the day.

She said: "When I get into bed in the evening, I just want Lorena there next to me.

“I feel like I can keep strong in the day for Larose, but at night, that’s when it just hits me. That’s when I feel really, really sad and I miss her so much."

She continued: “I can’t explain how I feel, really. I don’t feel angry, I guess I feel quite calm. I feel all different emotions at all different times, but the worst is at night when Larose is asleep and I feel alone without Lorena."
