Lauren Goodger opens up on ’emotional evening’ ahead of Larose’s first birthday

Lauren Goodger has opened up on an "emotional evening" as she prepares to celebrate her daughter Larose's first birthday, just weeks after her second daughter Lorena tragically died not long after her birth.

The former TOWIE star, 35, announced the devastating news on Instagram on 10 July, posting a picture of Lorena's tiny hand in hers.

Lauren wrote: "She was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister Larose.

"Words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me.

"There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar."

She added: "I am broken. I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet."

The reality star then asked for privacy during this difficult time, adding: "We have a lot of grieving to do and funeral organising that I just need this time & with my baby girl Larose she is my rock that’s getting me through this or I wouldn’t survive."

Now, on Tuesday 19 July, Lauren took to her Instagram stories to post an adorable picture of almost-one year old Larose as she shared that her baby was set to turn one the next day, and she needed help securing birthday balloons.

Alongside the snap, Lauren wrote: "It's my little cherub's 1st birthday tomorrow I had balloons ordered but they have had a family emergency so now I can't get my balloons for the morning…

"Can anyone help me? I know what colour and design thank you XXXX".

In her next Instagram story she reposted her 10 July post about Lorena, admitting that she was feeling "emotional".

She wrote: "Just wrapped @babylarose.x presents and my Lorena was with me in my heart the whole time with her candle lit…

"Very emotional evening for mummy. But can't wait to see my big girl in the morning".

She then showed off some giant pink letter balloons that spelled out "Larose" that were set up in Lauren's living room.

Another balloon set up that she showed off was a giant baby pink "1" balloon which was surrounded by gold and pink heart balloons.
