Lauren Goodger has shared the lyrics to Celine Dion’s 2004 song A Mother’s Prayer as she continues to grieve the death of her daughter Lorena.
Over the weekend, TOWIE star Lauren, 35, shared the devastating news that her newborn daughter had died. She gave birth to her second child with partner Charles Drury on Friday 8 July.
Announcing the heartbreaking news, Lauren penned on Instagram: “Lorena [angel emoji] R.I.P 08.07.22 she was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x … words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me."
She continued: "There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar.. I am broken.
“I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet.”
Lauren’s since remained quiet on social media while she processes the family’s tragic loss, but took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday 12 July to share the lyrics to Celine Dion’s track.
The lyrics read: “Lead her to a place. Guide her with your grace to a place where she’ll be safe.”
Alongside the song, Lauren shared a broken heart emoji.
In light of her devastating loss, Lauren’s celeb pals have rushed to share their support.
Love Island's Malin Andersson, whose own daughter Consy died when she was just four weeks old in January 2019, wrote: "Sending you so much love strength and positive energy.
"Here if you ever need to talk. Take your time.. you are so loved."
