Liam Gallagher ‘at war with neighbours at his £4million home after becoming embroiled in complicated battle to chop back historic trees’
Liam Gallagher is reportedly locked into a dispute with his neighbours at his £4million London home over some overhanging trees.
The former Oasis star, 50, is currently resting from a double his replacement but taking time out hasn’t given him total peace and quiet, it has been claimed.
Britpop rocker Liam has apparently been forced to pay to have the trees cut back but, as they are under a preservation order, the process hasn’t been straight forward.
The singer-songwriter had to apply to the council before he gave the trees the chop.
A source told The Sun: ‘Liam’s life used to be an exciting whirlwind and now it’s become a bit of a drag.

‘He’s had a neighbour make a complaint about his trees overhanging and he’s had to get permission to have them lopped back.
‘It’s been a boring few months as it is, with Liam having to put his feet up because of his double hip replacement ops too.’
MailOnline has contacted a representative for Liam for comment.
In February this year, Liam revealed he’d had a major operation to replace both his hips.
Last year Liam revealed he needed the joints replacing in his hip due to arthritis as a result of a longstanding thyroid problem.
Taking to Twitter after his op, Liam wrote: ‘Morning Rastas so I had my hip operation last wk [week] all went well and RESPEK [respect] to all the doctors and nurses who looked after me. Big shout out to the A team for getting us home safe n sound.
‘You know who you are and Florence guru I love and adore you. Riverdance here I come LG x.’
Before his Knebworth in June last year, Liam said he was relying on painkilling injections to get him through before his operation.

Speaking to Zoe Ball on The Radio 2 Breakfast Show, he said: ‘Hips man, they’re both bashed up, but I just went to get these injections the other day actually, so now I am buzzin’ mate, I’m like Louie Spence.
‘I might go and ruin my career at Knebworth and go start doing some high kicks like Jagger, and everyone’s going like that, “I want my money back, we only come to see him stand still.”‘
He previously told MoJo Magazine: ‘My hips are f*****… I’ve got arthritis, bad.
‘I went to get it checked and my bones are mashed up.’
Complications: Britpop rocker Liam has apparently been forced to pay to have the trees cut back but, as they are under a preservation order, the process hasn’t been straight forward (pictured last year)
Hip replacement surgery sees the damaged hip joint replaced by a prosthetic impact and has a recovery time of around six weeks.
‘The lady was going “you might need a hip operation, a replacement’ – no way. You’re all right… I think I’d rather just be in pain, which is ridiculous, obviously. I know that – just get them fixed.’
He continued: ‘But it’s also the stigma, saying you’ve had your hips replaced… I can’t sleep at night for the pain, tossing and turning.
‘So I’m on the herbal sleeping tablets and they’ve saved my life. One of them seven hours out – no pain, nothing.’
