It's a good thing Emily is in Paris and not London (sorry, Alfie), because the British royals might have a bone to pick with the (British) American in Paris herself, Lily Collins.
During Tuesday's appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Collins opened up about some hilarious childhood interactions she had with the royals.
Corden pulled out a photo from one particular meeting between a baby Lily and Princess Diana. "I have been told that this is what happened," Lily started. "I'm giving Diana flowers and the second she went to take them, I then tried to pull them back. So, as you can imagine, all the air was sucked out of the room. But then again, I was wearing a cute dress, so who's going to really punish me?"
She then recalled an even funnier incident with Prince Charles that involved the actress chucking a toy at his head. "I was also told that when I was younger, I was playing with some toys with Prince Charles, and I proceeded to throw something at him, like, throw a toy telephone at his head, which again, all the air was sucked out of the room," she recounted with a laugh.
The star of the hit Netflix show explained to Corden and his audience that she's British and because her father, music icon Phil Collins, was heavily involved with the Prince's Trust foundation (founded by Charles in 1976), their family spent some time with the royals when she was a baby.
"I just went along for the ride, and I guess I had a tendency to do naughty things as a two-year-old," she joked.
