Leigh-Anne Pinnock has opened up about why she hasn’t yet revealed the names of her baby twins.
The 30-year-old wishes to keep a lid for now on those particular details as she focuses on being a new mum to her children.
“I’m just gonna keep it to myself,” Leigh-Anne said to The Telegraph in her first interview with the rest of Little Mix as a threesome.
The star welcomed her baby twins back in August – the same month bandmate Perrie Edwards also welcomed her first child, son Axel, with Liverpool footballer Ashley Oxlade-Chamberlain.
While Perrie has been happy to share the gender and name of her baby on social media, Leigh-Anne has been noticeably more secretive as she gets to grips with adjusting to motherhood.
Joined by Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall separately in their homes over Zoom, the new mothers discussed how crazy life has been since becoming first-time parents.
“There’s no such thing as having a scheduled lifestyle any more," Perrie said. The 28-year-old was doting on her baby boy whilst speaking from the nursery at her home in Manchester.
“Like you say, Pez, you can’t plan anything,” Leigh-Anne agreed from her Buckinghamshire residence.
“Even when you want to feed them at a certain time, it never goes to plan.”
The two bandmates have clearly bonded even closer with each other over their experiences becoming mothers at the same time, comparing sleeping patterns of their children later on in the interview.
“Axel is a good sleeper, but I don’t know how you’re doing it with two, Leigh-Anne,’ Perrie told her.
“I don’t even know myself,’ she replied.
“Last night was horrific. I’ve tried to feed them at the same time, one right after the other. That’s normally quite a good routine, but it wasn’t last night. Oh, it was horrible!”
Leigh-Anne has been supported by fiancé, Andre Gray in raising their twins and seems to be content on keeping their world private for now, following her recent feud with ex-bandmate Jesy Nelson.
The Little Mix star was called a “jealous clown” by Nicki Minaj for criticising Jesy’s music video in which she was accused of ‘blackfishing’. Emotional during her 30thbirthday party speech on 17 October after the tense situation, Andre stepped in to defend his partner.
"If anyone has anything to say, come and find me," he said. "The one thing I will do in my life is protect my family."
From what it appears, Leigh-Anne agrees with his sentiment as she continues to keep her baby twins concealed from the limelight for now.
