Loose Women stars in heated clash after latest episodes of Harry and Meghan doc airs

The panellists on Loose Women butted heads in a fierce debate on Thursday as they discussed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new Netflix documentary.

Harry & Meghan, which is currently ranked number one on Netflix, has dominated the social conversation since the first set of episodes was released last week.

Following the release of the final three episodes on 15 December, the ladies of Loose Women sat down to discuss the many things the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed.

Carol McGiffin clashed with her fellow panellist, Judi Love, with the former admitting that she’s totally “fed up” with Harry and Meghan and is boycotting the series.

She scathed: "I'm boycotting it, not actively, but I'm just not really interested. I'm just fed up with these two.

"They originally left the UK to preserve their privacy and what they've done is sell it to Netflix. This is what annoys me about it. If they want to tell it, I don't care but don't try and manipulate me into wanting to watch it."

Judi, 42, did not agree with her colleague but also confessed that she is finding it difficult to argue about the subject as she has "gone past the point of arguing with someone.”

"If you don't come to the conclusion after watching this that someone is being treated a bit differently, then I just leave it with that," she added.

Carol, 62, who previously opened up about her facelift, hit back with: "You'd have to take their word for everything. You're not questioning it."

"Still people are saying negative things about them," Judi added before Carol chimed in: "What do they want? What do they want?"

Before the show, the official Twitter account for Loose Women posted a poll that asked: “Will you be watching the second part of Harry and Meghan’s documentary?”

Over the 673 votes, 65.1% of users said they would not be tuning in, while 34.9% said they would.

In the comments, many Twitter users agreed with Carol, with one penning: “Well said Carol, pair of whinging hypocrites, best thing I’ve seen today.”

Another wrote: “Agree with Carol. Why don’t they just get on with their life and stop making money on the back of their family.”

A third person disagreed with Carol and added: “100% watched it and to hear many voices of loose women bash meghan was disgusting.”

Judi, who recently urged the government to address the NHS crisis, has been fairly vocal about the TV series on social media, where she wrote: “3rd episode of Meghan and Harry documentary schooled some of you about the UK involvement in the Atlantic Slave Trade!! Plus her side of the story regards to her father! And still people saying she lying or this shouldn’t be aired!”

Judi’s colleague Denise Welch has also been vocal on social media, as she penned: “He was always ‘the spare’ and treated as such.”

On another occasion, she wrote: “King Charles was cheating on Harrys mum when they got married. His uncle paid off a young woman £12m for a sex scandal to go away. He met up with Epstein ‘after’ he was found guilty of prostituting minors. The Queen publicly supported him. Harry moves to protect his wife….”
