Presenter Lizzie Cundy, 53, said Louise Redknapp, 46, will be “shocked” by the news, as she claimed the singer will always love her ex-husband. The former couple split in 2017 after 19 years of marriage and share two sons together; Charley and Beau. Jamie is now expecting his third child, this time with girlfriend Frida Andersson-Lourie.
The football pundit’s dad Harry Redknapp confirmed the news on talkRADIO.
He said of becoming a grandad again: “Yeah, great, I’m really pleased.
“It’s good news, so looking forward to that and it’s exciting times.”
Louise hasn’t shared a public reaction to the news, but according to Lizzie, she will be “hurt”.
She told Closer Magazine: “Louise will feel shocked and her heart will be hurting.”
Reflecting on her own experience, she said she burst into tears after learning her ex-husband Jason Cundy went on to have a third child with someone else after their divorce.
She added: “Louise will always be in love with Jamie.
“It’s difficult when you’ve had almost 20 years together but, as time goes on, she will find someone else.
“It’s just going to be tough at the minute as everyone is talking about it.
“And if she found out via other people, that is bound to hurt, too.”
Frida is already a mum to four sons who she shares with her ex-husband, Jonathan Lourie.
Louise is believed to be single after her split from Jamie.
