Louise Thompson has said she "can't imagine" pregnancy or doing childbirth again, as Chloe Madeley said she would "cry with dread if I had to do it again anytime soon".
Former Made in Chelsea star Louise, 30, has suffered a difficult year with her health and mental health, including PTSD, following the birth of her son Leo-Hunter in November 2021.
The star has been very open about her traumatic birth experience and the health issues she's suffered since, often documenting her progress and thoughts on Instagram.
Louise has now discussed the idea of having another baby in a lengthy and candid post, sharing sweet snaps with Leo, as she said that she'd had "quite a few people ask me whether I want to have more children."
Her answer to the question was: "I honestly couldn’t think of anything worse than being pregnant again… and worse yet the idea of going through childbirth."
She continued: "I am still trying to get to grips with what has happened to me (a slow and gruelling process) and i’m working on being the absolute best mother I can be to my one baby boy," whilst adding that she doesn't "want to pile any additional stress on my plate."
She also shared that she is "sinking her teeth into some work" and is "enjoying engaging my brain again".
While Louise went on to clarify that she's not saying being pregnant will "never happen again," she added: "I just can’t imagine it for me…ever again…"
In the candid post, Louise also shared that, due to her health issues, she hasn't had a period in two years, since getting pregnant with Leo, admitting that she "desperately misses that part of womanhood."
She went into detail about the health conditions that she suffers from, including drug-induced lupus, and added that she is "still a bit triggered around physical intimacy" with fiancé, Ryan Libbey, 32.
Louise suffered huge complications when she gave birth to Leo in 2021, telling fans in an emotional post that she had "danced with death twice" while in hospital.
She then spent a month in intensive care after he was born and has since suffered from panic attacks, depression and PTSD, amongst other physical and mental health issues.
Chloe Madeley, who gave birth to her daughter Bodhi via emergency C-section in August 2022, appeared to echo Louise's thoughts on not having another child any time soon.
The 35 year old daughter of British broadcasters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, wrote a lengthy comment on Louise's post, talking about her own experiences with pregnancy and childbirth.
Chloe, who shares her daughter with rugby player husband James Haskell, shared that she had "struggled to get pregnant," but when she did she had a "pretty great pregnancy overall".
She added that childbirth "didn't go great" but that she "didn't feel any pain and recovered quickly".
Speaking about her thoughts on having more children, Chloe, who said she is "obsessed" with daughter Bodhi, wrote: "I think I would cry with dread if I had to do it all again anytime soon. It genuinely emotionally upsets me. And I have NO IDEA how people have more than 1 in close succession. I can’t get my head around it."
She went on to tell Louise that she "loved" her and told her to "be happy".
