Louise Thompson enjoyed a family outing over the weekend, as she told followers she was “breaking the anxious cycle” she’s been battling in the aftermath of her traumatic labour months ago.
The 31 year old posted a series of photos capturing her time out of the house with four-month-old son Leo-Hunter and fiancé Ryan Libbey as she captioned them:” First proper family outing… breaking that anxious cycle #4monthold #postnatalrecovery #ptsd #anxietyrecovery”.
In the first image shared, Louise could be seen sitting outside a café wearing a camel coat with a white furry trim and matching wide leg trousers, gazing over baby Leo, who was captured sitting on his mum’s lap wrapped in a blanket whilst wearing a beanie.
Perched next to mum and son was a pram and large designer bag — no doubt filled with all the baby essentials the Made in Chelsea star needed for the outing.
The second photo showed Louise in the same position, this time staring straight at the camera flashing a big smile showing just how pleased she was to be out and about with her baby boy.
The former reality star continued to smile in the rest of the snaps posted as she was pictured going for a walk with baby Leo who was in his pram, whilst she held onto an umbrella.
Louise’s family outing comes after she recently revealed that she was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) following the difficult birth of her son in November.
The TV star spent five weeks in hospital after welcoming her first child and developed a phobia of going outside, as well as “depressive panic episodes”.
Louise celebrated her outing this weekend, looking happy as she continued to share her day trip with her 1.4 million followers on Instagram Stories, uploading a photo of the drinks she and fiancé Ryan enjoyed at the café.
“We did our first breakfast out with Leo,” the reality star captioned the pic.
Someone who didn't enjoy his outing as much as mum, however, was baby Leo, as Louise revealed that she and Ryan had been taking turns throughout their day out to go for strolls with their son who is currently teething.
In a video also posted to Instagram Stories, the reality star filmed partner Ryan as he took baby Leo for a walk in his pram outside of the café they were dining at.
“The reality of restaurant dining with a teething baby,” Louise wrote.
“Taking it in turns to wheel the pram around. Who can relate?”
