Love Island fans shocked as Lana cries in the dark while Ron shares bed with Tanyel

Sunday night's episode of the hit ITV dating programme Love Island has left fans at home feeling rather confused after they noticed Lana Jenkins crying in the dark.

Blonde beauty Lana, 25, appeared distraught after her "bestie" Tanyel Revan, 26, decided to choose her partner Ron Hall, 25, to pair with in a brutal recoupling. The two had instantly hit it off and have continued to get to know one another despite Ron and Lana's initial attraction to each other.

Following a friendly conversation with Tanyel, where Lana insisted their friendship be "transparent", the make-up artist looked completely devastated as she lay in bed while they frolicked in bed together close by.

Appearing to shed a tear, Lana eventually pulled the cover over her head before being woken up by the two laughing together.

Viewers have since flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on what happened as one person wrote: "Lana crying from the first recoupling? She's not gonna handle Casa Amor".

Casa Amor is widely regarded as the "ultimate test" for a pair as the men and women split into two villas, where they meet a range of new Islanders they can choose to recouple with.

Another chimed: "Watching ep11, and the girls are PISSED lmao. Surprised Lana was crying sm #loveisland".

Others predicted that she would shed some tears as they shared: "Lana is going to cry premium cry!!! Ron is not a one woman man #LoveIsland".

While another posed their theory as they shared: "Come to the conclusion that Ron is with Lana because a) he’s scared to make her cry or b) he wants to play safe because he deffo likes Tanyel #loveisland".

As Ron and Tanyel have been getting to know one another in their new situation, Lana has coupled up with Will Young, 23, in a strictly platonic capacity.

Will, meanwhile, has hit it off with new Aussie bombshell Jessie Wynter. The farmer has had a tough time of things so far, after failing to be picked when he entered the villa as one of the first five male housemates.

Despite showing interest in a few of the girls, Will has so fair failed to garner much interest from the female Islanders.

He found himself in the bottom two with David Salako in last week's recoupling, as Lana was the last person to pick and ended up coupling up with him, leaving David the first to be booted from the Island.

Now it appears Will might have a shot with bombshell Jessie as the pair spoke of their fondness of the country. Will said: “Loving it, same, everyone in here is like city people and I’m a little country boy.”

Jessie went on to say: “I feel like you kind of don’t strike me as the kind of guy to be in an office, I feel like it’s a country thing because I’m the same.”

As the pair continued to bond over their shared interests, Will called Jessie as a “10/10," to which Jessie replied: “You’re obviously gorgeous as well, you really are.”

A clearly-smitten Will later told her: “I can’t stop looking at your eyes, your eye contact is so good.”
