Love Island host Maya Jama enjoying cosy dates with R&B singer Giveon

New Love Island host Maya Jama has been "enjoying cosy dates with R&B singer Giveon", despite rumours of a reconciliation with her ex, Stormzy.

The 28 year old TV personality has been pictured with US-based singer Giveon, 27, on two occasions this week as he spends time in London, which is where Maya calls home.

The pair were seen together at the London Fashion Awards this week, at which Maya looked sensational in a black cocktail gown with a daring thigh split, whilst she wore a wide-brimmed hat to edge up the look.

She posed up a storm with Giveon – real name Giveon Dezmann Evans – as she rested an arm on his shoulder whilst he wrapped one of his around her waist, looking cool in a black hoodie and matching jacket that was adorned with sequins.

After the awards, the pair headed to celebrity hotspot Chiltern Firehouse, before leaving in a taxi together at around 3am.

Clearly keen on spending more time together, Maya invited Giveon to join her and some pals for dinner at Mayfair restaurant Bacchanalia on Wednesday, after which they were seen in a cab together.

According to The Sun, an onlooker said: “Maya and Giveon tried to avoid being pictured together, even leaving the restaurant separately.

“They seemed very comfortable with each other and Maya had her hand resting on his shoulder.”

OK! has contacted Maya's representatives for comment.

Maya was recently linked once again to her ex-boyfriend, rapper Stormzy, after the pair were seen hanging out at the GQ Men of the Year awards and at Kendrick Lamar's concert in London in November.

Maya was briefly engaged to US basketball player Ben Simmons, but the pair called off their engagement in August.

Her rumoured new flame Giveon is perhaps best known for his collaboration with Justin Bieber on the smash-hit single Peaches, which reached number one worldwide last year.

He's previously opened up about wanting to keep his relationships out of the spotlight, as well as what he looks for in a woman as he said: "I’m big on funny. I think it takes a certain kind of wit.

“For me it needs to be something very private.

“I’m not into a celebrity relationship, I’d like a nurse or a lawyer.”

His new choice of woman is anything but low-profile, as Maya has become one of the UK's hottest TV faces, cemented by her landing her biggest gig yet – as presenter of hit ITV2 show, Love Island, which she takes over from Laura Whitmore.

An excited Maya said: “I’ve always been such a massive Love Island fan and I’m so excited to be hosting one of the nation’s favourite shows! I can’t wait to get into the Villa to meet all of the Islanders.”
