EXCLUSIVE: Love Island’s Casey O’Gorman splits from Rosie Seabrook just TWO weeks after being dumped from villa
Love Island contestant Casey O’Gorman has split from Rosie Seabrook just two weeks after the couple were dumped from the villa.
The former Islanders, who appeared together during filming of the Love Island Reunion show on Sunday, have already gone their separate ways despite telling host Maya Jama that they planned to go on dates and explore their blossoming romance.
Casey dramatically ended his relationship with Claudia Fogarty to pursue his feelings for Rosie during their stint on the ITV2 series.
Claudia was left brokenhearted and has since opened up about being ‘rejected’ by Casey, 26, who was part of the ‘three musketeers’ alongside fellow Islanders Tom Clare and Will Young, and often preferred spending time with the boys instead of potential girlfriends.
They are the first couple from the winter series to breakup, after Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan won the show last week, scooping the £50,000 prize fund.

A source told MailOnline: ‘It was clear from the moment they left the villa that Casey and Rosie weren’t going to last.
‘They haven’t made any effort to spend time together on the outside or go on dates to truly get to know each other and they both agreed it was better to quit while they were ahead.’
Confirming their split on Instagram, Casey said on Tuesday: ‘Rosie and I have spoken… she’s a great girl. Life outside the villa is just very different and we will remain friends moving forward.’
He was replying to a fan who asked during an Instagram Q&A how they couple are.
Their breakup comes after Claudia, 28, exclusively told MailOnline that Casey had messaged her to catchup and see how she was after the pair had left the villa on bad terms.
She was surprised to hear Casey had been talking about their time on the show together, insinuating he could have gone further in the competition had he stayed with Claudia.
She said: ‘He actually sent me a message last week just checking on how I am.
‘When I look back, I think we probably weren’t that very well matched, and we wouldn’t have worked on the outside. I’ll definitely be friends with him.
During the Love Island Reunion on Sunday, Casey explained that he hadn’t spent a lot of time with Rosie since returning to the UK, but their plan was to go on their first date on Tuesday
However, Casey confirmed the end of his romance with Rosie on Instagram today, saying ‘Life outside the villa is just very different and we will remain friends moving forward’

‘I am over it now, but I saw him say something about not wanting to stay in a fake relationship and that upset me a bit because I thought oh God was it a fake relationship?
‘He said, ‘if I had stayed with Claudia then we would have got a lot further in the competition’ and I was thinking was I just someone for you to stay in the show for longer?
‘It’s all water under the bridge now and hopefully when I see him it will all be civil. It was a hard situation that he handled incorrectly but I have no hard feelings towards him now.’
During the Love Island Reunion on Sunday, Casey explained that he hadn’t spent a lot of time with Rosie since returning to the UK, but their plan was to go on their first date on Tuesday.
He said: ‘It’s all a bit overwhelming when you come back. We have a date on Tuesday so I’m just looking forward to that.
‘We spent the week… it was a bit overwhelming, and we wanted to spend some quality time with friends and family but now we’re going to spend some time together.
‘There’s a lot of pressure that people see us as a couple and in a relationship but we’re just not at that stage yet and we want to take it a bit slower.’
In the villa, Casey expressed his feelings towards Rosie, telling the bombshell that he couldn’t wait to experience their romance outside of the show and he was ‘excited for the future.’
He said: ‘I do want to say that I am really falling for you. I am completely closed off and I wouldn’t be interested in any other girl.
‘I think you’re amazing and gorgeous and whenever I’m not around you I want to be with you and I really, really do like you. I am honestly really, really excited for the outside and for the future.’
