Love Island’s Dami reveals reason for cheeky ‘lovestick’ private parts nickname

Future Love Island singleton Dami Hope let OK! in on a big secret prior to entering the famous villa in Mallorca.

The 26-year-old Senior Microbiologist was asked if there was anything he could tell us something about himself that not many people know.

Grinning as he spoke, Dami replied: "I don’t know if it’s a secret, but on my penis I have this birthmark that’s shaped like a love heart – I call it ‘The Lovestick’!"

The Dublin-born scientist – who admitted that the only aspect of joining the show that has left him feeling nervous is the prospect of not being step-forward for during the initial meeting with the girls – has also hinted that he's not afraid to cause trouble.

"If I’m with someone," he explained. "But I’m not in a relationship with them, I stray a little bit – but I’ve never cheated!

"And with the guys, I’ll probably step on people’s toes."

Dami also revealed how his family and close friends reacted after being told he'd be appearing on British television's most popular dating show.

"My mum was really stoked! She just asked if I was going to come back with a wife – that was her main question.

"They’re all really excited for me and have ITV Hub ready to watch."

OK! then asked the future contestant which past Islander he would choose to couple up with if they were to join him for his series, to which he replied: "Probably Yewande [Biala].

"Or – what’s her name? The one from Casa Amor last year that came in with Toby – Mary [Bedford]!"

With an impressive appearing profession under his belt, fans are already keen to know whether Dami is likely to return to the lab after his stint on the show, or if he'll become a social media influencer has many past contestants have done.

"I’d like a life where I can be myself and get rich for being it," he told us. "I want a life like that! It would be cool."
