Love Island star Liam Llewellyn has quit the show after less than a week, according to reports.
The 22 year old is set to leave his fellow Islanders stunned as he makes a life-changing confession to them all at the fire pit – and it's now been claimed that the revelation will be an exit announcement.
An insider told the Sun: "The reasons behind it are unknown so viewers will be glued to their screens tonight to find out."
Liam is currently the only single contestant in the house after his original partner picked by the public Gemma Owens, was reselected to couple up with Italian Islander Davide Sanclimenti.
ITV declined to comment on the matter when contacted by OK!.
In Friday night's episode the Islanders gather at the fire pit for the much-anticipated re-coupling, but Liam is expected to make a shock announcement to the group.
In a preview clip released ahead of tonight's episode, Liam asks the boys to help him get everyone around the fire pit, saying: “I think we need to have a chat, we need to get everyone by the fire pit.”
The other Islanders look on confused as Liam prepares to make a surprise announcement.
Newport-based Liam has had an eventful time on the show so far and just yesterday was having a chat with fellow contestant Gemma Owen where they talked about their love of sport.
The 22 year old has just finished a master's in Strength and Conditioning with hopes of working with professional athletes, particularly footballers as his career progresses.
He was originally coupled up with Gemma until Davide stole her off him just one day after they entered the villa – leaving him single.
However, in last night's episode, he went on dates with two villa newcomers.
He was the first of the Islanders to meet 27 year old Turkish actress Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and 25 year old Lounge Host Afia Tonkmor.
He ‘dated’ the pair in a rather strange set-up, where he sat first with Afia at a table, with Ekin-Su sat alone in the background, before he switched tables to sit with Ekin-Su.
In perhaps a well-practised flirting technique, a usually loud Liam adopted a breathy, whispery voice when speaking to the girls, both of whom he called stunning, which had Love Island viewers straining to hear what he was saying.
Fans of the show took to Twitter to comment on Liam’s audio levels.
One person added a meme of a woman staring into the distance looking confused, and they wrote: “why is liam giving us asmr stop whispering”.
Someone else wrote: “Liam man whyre you whispering”.
