Love Island’s Tasha and Andrew meet Charles and Camilla at special reception

Love Island's Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page met King Charles and Queen Camilla at Windsor Castle at the weekend.

The pair got to meet the newly crowned King at a special Windsor Castle reception ahead of the Coronation concert on Sunday.

The 24-year-old model, who was the show's first deaf contestant, looked as stunning as ever in a white dress with feathered edges.

While Andrew, 27, looked smart in a beige suit with a plain white shirt.

However, Tasha, who is a Coronation Champions Ambassador, said she wasn't allowed to take a picture with King Charles as guests weren't allowed to take photos at the event.

She said: "What a moment. I'm so proud to be a Coronation Champions Ambassador hence why I've had the pleasure to be here today.

"We had the honour to meet the king and queen (wish I had photos but we weren't allowed). Little me would've thought this would have never happened and feeling so grateful to represent the deaf community."

Tasha revealed that exciting news that she has received an invitation to King Charles' coronation celebrations on Wednesday.

The star said she "didn't believe it" when the letter came through her door.

She explained that she managed to get the invite due to being an ambassador for The Royal National Institute for Deaf People, which she revealed is how she managed to bag the coveted invite.

Tasha told The Mirror : "I didn't expect it if I am honest', adding: 'It's a great opportunity to be invited. And it's gonna be a great day, and I get to go with Andrew as well so we will go together.

"I didn't expect it at all. I think it's because I do a lot of charity work behind the scenes that not everyone really knows about. So I think that's kind of why it's come about, but I'm excited. I can't wait."

The reception at Windsor Castle took place before the Coronation concert which saw celebs perform for thousands of viewers.

Stars such as Lionel Richie, Olly Murs, Katy Perry and Take That performed at the special occasion.

Meanwhile, many of the royal family watched the show including the King and Queen who were sat with other members of the family.

Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte drew plenty of attention as many viewers noted how much they enjoyed the show as well as how well behaved they were.
