Love Island’s Will and Casey’s fallout explained as they miss last night’s final

As this recent season of Love Island came to an end on 13 March, two people who weren’t at the final were Will Young and Casey O’Gorman.

During their time in the villa, 26 year old Casey and Will, 23, sparked up a friendship – even creating their own spin-off show Villa Wives alongside Tom Clare and Shaq Muhammad.

Since they’ve left the villa, their friendship seems to have come to an explosive end after Will was shown clips of Casey during his time in the villa where he questioned if his now-girlfriend Jessie Wynter was playing a game.

The videos came after Will had asked Casey if he thought Jessie was playing a game, to which he replied no – sparking him to brand Casey a “snake” and a “liar” in the wake of the clips shown to him on Aftersun.

Casey attempted to defend himself, saying: “We actually spoke about that," as Will continued: "I said so many times, be honest with me, be open with me and the boy lied."

Casey further responded: "Me and Will, straight after that, I said I felt like it was a complete act. Did I not?" To which Will simply hit back with: "Roll the tapes. Just roll the tapes."

Later in the show when Will had returned to their table, the pair were shown to still be arguing.

Following their argument, Casey and partner Rosie Seabrook, along with Willie and Jessie, were all shipped off back to the UK – forcing them to miss the big Love Island final where Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrianan were crowned as winners.

As many Love Island fans feared that Casey and Will’s friendship was over, Casey sparked hope that the pair had reconciled after sharing a smiley selfie with Will at the airport.

Also appearing to confirm that there was no bad blood, Casey shared a snap of him in the beach hut to his Instagram with Tom and Will, writing: “Only 1 musketeer remains… Best of luck to all islanders in the final tonight! Can’t wait to watch”.

While they weren’t there in person for last night’s final, both Will and Casey have shared their congratulations to their fellow Islanders.

Sharing a snap of finalists Kai, Sanam, Lana Jenkins, Ron Hall, Samie Elishi, Tom Clare, Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Mangehna, Will wrote to his Instagram Story: “Congratulations to these beauty’s making it to the final xx”.

In light of Kai and Sanam winning, Casey also penned: “Congrats to this unreal couple!!!”
