Lucy Alexander takes her father for his coronavrius vaccination
Lucy Alexander, 50, and Martin Roberts, 56, became a presenting force to be reckoned with on Homes Under The Hammer, when the programme began on BBC back in 2003. The popular property show brought the pair very close together, so close that some fans thought they were married. The humorous assumption led Martin to reveal that it didn’t go down too well over the years with Lucy’s real-life husband, former footballer Stewart Castledine, with whom she shares children Leo and Kitty.
Anybody ever thought you and @LucyAlexanderTV were married?

The admission was prompted after a fan quizzed the property expert on their relationship during his Monday morning Twitter Q&A session.
Martin still found it quite funny, but acknowledged how the mistake made things awkward.
The fan asked: “Anybody ever thought you and @LucyAlexanderTV were married?”
And it wasn’t long before Martin responded: “Yeah, all the time!
“Which really annoys her husband,” he giggled, thinking back.

“But I do call her my screen wife.”
Fans were gutted when the presenting duo were split up when Lucy decided to depart the show back in 2016.
Some are still hopeful that she might make a return some day, and it seemed Martin does too.
Someone asked him: “How come Lucy isn’t presenting anymore, just ain’t the same without you two #askmartinmonday #bringbacklucy #homesunderthehammer.”
Martin replied: “Lucy left to pursue other opportunities but like you I miss her.
“And who knows what will happen in the future?” he teased, accompanied with a cheeky grinning face.
The viewer came straight back, exclaiming how great it would be if she was to make a return to the show.
Lucy has since gone on to present one videos for Carpet Right, and her new Channel 4 show Bang on Budget.
Away from work, she recently opened up oil her relief that her dad had finally received the first of his coronavirus vaccination as she drove him to the centre.
After the death of her mum back in February last year, Lucy has been overly cautious about her dad’s health, giving fans heart-wrenching updates about how he was getting on by himself throughout the worrying year.

But things are looking up, and she shared the exciting moment with her social media followers as she drove him to the drive-through centre.
The vaccination programme is now well underway – the largest in British history – as the Oxford/AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccine is rolled out across the UK.
Taking to her Instagram story, she shared a muted video of her elderly dad wearing a face covering as they sat in the car, waiting their turn.
Her father appeared to be smiling under his mask as she showed him wearing a warm fleece and wooly hat to keep out the bitter cold before panning the camera to the vaccination centre sign.
She caption the video: “Taking dad for his cover vaccination. At last!”
And the BBC star couldn’t hide her relief, as she shared the video to Twitter detailing how it all went.
“Relieved. Took dad for his first covid vaccination,” she wrote.
“Was so well done – like a drive through costa but without the coffee.
“No one out of cars – next one will be within 12 weeks.”
