Madonna confirms she is rescheduling tour dates after frightening health battle and thanks fans for support: ‘See you soon for a well deserved celebration!’
Madonna, 64, has confirmed that she’ll be rescheduling dates on her Celebration tour in the wake of her frightening health scare.
The Like A Prayer singer was recently hospitalized due to a life-threatening bacterial infection.
However, the platinum haired diva is back on her feet after weeks in the ICU.
She credited her children for helping her heal, writing in another Instagram post, ‘As a Mother you can really get caught up In the needs Of your children and the seemingly endless giving…But when the chips were down my children really showed up for me.’
Madonna told her millions of followers on Instagram that the re-routed tour dates would be announced in the next few days.

The 4 Minutes hitmaker was initially forced to cancel her Celebration tour when she was rushed to the hospital following a terrifying sepsis infection.
As the DailyMail previously reported, the pop icon reflected, ‘how lucky I am to be alive’ on Instagram when she started to recover her strength.
Doctors had informed the DailyMail prior to her hospitalization how ‘worn down, thin and exhausted,’ the Michigan born superstar looked.
In spite of the horrific setback for the La Isla Bonita singer, she’s chosen to adopt a positive mindset on the road to recovery.
She captioned a video of herself dancing on her Instagram with, ‘To be able to move my body and dance just a little bit makes me feel like the luckiest star in the world.’
The Weeknd showed his support by leaving a ‘you dropped this,’ with a crown emoji under Madonna’s dancing video.
In the separate social media post dedicated to her children, the Back That Up To The Beat vocalist wrote, ‘Love from family and friends is the best medicine.’
‘Thank you to all my angels who protected me and let me stay to finish doing my work!’ she added with gratitude.

The crooner’s Celebration tour was supposed to celebrate her four decades of hits.
Initially, Celebration was slated to kick off this Saturday in Detroit.
The re-scheduled tour route and tour dates have yet to be confirmed by the singer and her team.
However, Madonna did write in a July 10th Instagram post that, ‘The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe.’
She made sure to tell her fans, ‘I couldn’t be more grateful for your care and support.’
