Madonna offered her loyal legion of fans a behind-the-scenes look at her family’s Easter celebrations, which included bunny ears and a mini photoshoot.
The pop legend, who earlier this year lost her brother-in-law at the age of 66, is no stranger to candid social media posts and previously hit the headlines over her dramatic transformation, which she later revealed was due to plastic surgery.
On Easter Sunday, Madonna was joined by her kids for lots of seasonal fun.
The 64 year old pop legend shared pictures that included her kids, David Banda, 17, Mercy James, 17, and her twins, Stelle and Estere Ciccone, 10.
The first picture showed the family outside as they beamed for the camera while wearing fluffy bunny ears.
Madonna could be seen in chunky black sunglasses and a floral jumper as she pulled the twins in for a hug, while the second picture showed David and Mercy posing up a storm during an impromptu dance session in the dining room.
“Let the games begin,” she captioned the next post, which showed Mercy sitting on a picnic-style bench while brandishing a woven basket, presumably ready for the Easter egg hunt.
Another picture showed a woman wearing an inflatable bunny costume as Madonna offered her 18.9 million followers a look at her unique decorating style, which included flowers in suspended jars.
The hunt for chocolate must have been quite intense, as another picture showed David in a tree as his sister sprinted across the grass.
Concluding the photo dump, Madonna shared more pictures of her daughters, as she dubbed them, and her French Bulldog, Gypsy, the “winners.”
The Material Girl artist was not the only one to be spotted celebrating the annual holiday, with King Charles, the Queen Consort, Prince William, Kate Middleton and the kids all pictured on their way to a Sandringham church service.
David Beckham and Victoria Beckham also joined their son Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, for the occasion while Rochelle Humes sunned it up in Dubai with her husband, Marvin Humes.
Similarly, TV host Holly Willoughby took to Instagram with a seasonal message that read: "Happy Easter Sunday to everyone who celebrates. We hope you're getting to enjoy the long weekend, whatever you're doing. Let us know what you're up to in the comments.”
Molly-Mae Hague also noted the occasion with a sweet picture of her daughter, Bambi, as Ferne McCann told fans: "Happy Easter you lovely lot. Typically I would have a roast lamb in the oven & getting ready for an egg hunt but today we are getting ready for another pool day in Marrakech."
