MAFS Jordan reunites with Chanita as they celebrate her 30th birthday in new pic

Married At First Sight UK star Chanita Stephenson surprised fans by inviting 'ex-husband' Jordan Emmett-Connelly to her intimate 30th birthday celebration.

Having tied the knot earlier this year, the pair quickly became a favourite with viewers – many of whom had hoped they would remain together after the credits rolled.

Sadly, the couple announced their separation in the tense series finale after Jordan, 29, admitted he couldn’t see a future with Chanita.

Despite this, speculation about their relationship continues, which has only been fuelled by their recent social media posts.

In a series of posts on Instagram, Chanita excitedly posed co-stars Lara Eyre, Pjay Finch and Jenna Robinson. Sporting an iridescent gown with a deep v and thigh-skimming leg split, the birthday girl looked in high spirits as she partied at The Dixie Dean Hotel.

Also, among the attendees was her ex-husband Jordan, who appeared in a single photo along with several other contestants from the show.

Although the couple have been separated for some time, Chanita’s followers were quick to praise the social worker for inviting her ex.

One even wrote: “Love that the husband was there x”

The pair are still seemingly on good terms following the break, with Chanita writing that: “I honestly couldn’t have asked for better people to see out my 20’s with!!”

She also thanked her guests, writing: “Thankyou to you all for just being amazing humans and being in my life!”

“A few missing as couldn’t make it but we’ll make up for that…”

With a special reunion due to air in December, viewers of the show will undoubtedly be speculating about a possible reconciliation between the two.

Whilst it’s uncertain whether this will happen, but Jordan did comment about his ex-wife in a heartfelt post last month.

Reflecting on their relationship, he apologised to his former partner and stated that he took ”full accountability” and had “learnt an important lesson”.

He added: “If I could turn back the clock and change things I would but unfortunately that’s not possible.”

Describing her as “an amazing person”, he admitted that he still had “…strong feelings” for Chanita and said that he cared for her “her more than she will ever know.”

“I am so grateful that we shared this experience together. We have laughed, cried, and experienced every other emotion in between with each other. We truly seen and done it all, and I love us for that.”

The account manager also acknowledged that he wanted his ex-spouse to remain in his life for the foreseeable future.

He wrote: “We continue to speak every day, and I will do everything I can to try and keep her in my life. Thank you for the love and support, it’s been a crazy ride #mafsuk”.
