Megan Wolfe has candidly opened up on how cruel trolling during her appearance on Married At First Sight UK has impacted her.
The MAFS UK star, 26, took part in the reality show in a bid to find love – but romance fell flat between her and her match Bob Voysey.
Like the rest of the cast, Megan wasn't an experienced reality TV star and worked as a wellness coach for young person's charity before she was catapulted into the world of reality TV.
Megan caused a stir on the show when it was revealed she had kissed Jordon Mundell, something which she apologised for on the show.
Stunning blonde Megan's life played out in front of viewers eyes for several weeks, leaving some trolls thinking they were entitled to send her vile messages and abuse.
One troll took it as far as sending Megan a five page email filled with cruel abuse and death threats while others bombarded the charity she worked for with messages.
Months on, Megan has revealed to OK! the cruel abuse may have stopped but it still impacts her everyday life and she was even forced to leave her work.
Megan explained: "I was working as a wellness coach for a small charity and people were commenting on the charity's website and Facebook page like: 'How can you have someone so awful working for your charity'.
"So I stepped away from that job, wouldn't go back to that one."
However, it wasn't only Megan's career that was impacted as she developed social anxiety, too.
"When you're in it it literally feels like the whole work thinks what these trolls think," she told OK!. "I did keep trying to bring my thoughts, thinking. 'You know what Megan this is a few people – maybe a few hundred people, a few thousand people – it's not everyone it will blow over'. But, when I was in it it was pretty intense."
Speaking about the effects the trolling had on her, Megan explained: "I am quite an anxious person anyway but I'd kind of got the point where my anxiety was pretty manageable and I had really good mental health.
"I think as a wellness coach at the time I was very aware of looking after myself and how to do so but, when all that went on it was to the point where I was walking around ASDA and looking down and I still do it now, if people approach me or recognise me in public I just get very awkward, very anxious and I tend to try and not look at anybody and it's just all the classic symptoms of social anxiety, I didn't want to leave the house for weeks – I don't think I did for about… I didn't go out in public for about six weeks after it airing.

"And I didn't get out of bed for about a week when it was bad."
Now, Megan has set up her own aesthetics company, Wolfe Aesthetics, so she can be her own boss.
She explained: "What most other people class as 'normal jobs' kind of get taken out of the picture because the thought of going for an interview for a normal job and having people recognise you and having opinions is crippling anxiety."
