The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) arrested a man earlier this week after he climbed a TV station tower in Los Angeles and waved a flag reading “Free Billie Eilish.”
The other side of the flag appeared to read “MK ultra sex slaves donald marshall clones.”
Footage captured from the scene at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Bronson Avenue near Van Ness Avenue shows the man waving the cloth sign.
According to the LAPD, officers were informed after a bystander noticed the unidentified man holding a handwritten sign in one hand and an electric guitar in the other.
Authorities surrounded the 160-foot tower and tried to persuade the man, who was sitting on the narrow ledge of the KTLA5 digital sign with the flag, to come down.
KTLA5 reported at 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, that the man was spotted climbing down a tall ladder provided by authorities after spending several hours atop the sign.
It is unclear what the man was implying with his “Free Billie Eilish” sign.
