Mark Owen teases Take That reunion as hes compared to Harry Styles with hipster new look

Mark Owen has teased a Take That reunion as he rocked a brand new look for a radio interview on Wednesday.

The singer-songwriter, 50, posed with a pair of eye-catching white sunglasses, a black t-shirt, black leather trousers, and navy Converse.

His look has been compared to that of former One Direction star Harry Styles, and comes after Mark teased a possible Take That reunion on the horizon.

However, fans will have to wait a while, as he says the band want time to make the "right record."

Speaking to Metro's Guilty Pleasures, Mark has opened up about potentially returning to the stage with former bandmates Gary Barlow and Howard Donald following their hiatus in 2019.

He said: "We talked about how we would do it. When you get to our point, at this stage in your career, it’s about making the right record.

"That happened with (2008’s) The Circus. The first song we wrote was Greatest Day, which set the theme for the rest. You can’t rush those things.

"What tends to happen is that our records often directs where the tour is going to go, so they go hand in hand for us. When we’re writing songs, we will be thinking about how the live production works or a moment within the show. So maybe in the next year we will have [an album and tour] to share with everyone."

Mark then went on to add that the trio would only release new music "we're proud of" and "enjoy", which would hopefully "extend to the people who hear it."

This comes as Mark is set to release his first solo album in a decade, and says that he finally hopes to be known as the "cool one" in Take That.

But joking about his latest album, he said that Gary, 51, and Howard, 54, said the album was "s**t".

Speaking to The Sun, he said: "I try and play it cool but I’m not cool, there’s no coolness in me. Even being in Take That for all this time I still don’t think there is, but that’s all right.

"Howard (Donald) always thinks he’s cool, and Jason (Orange) really was cool — he just is. At least I’ll be the coolest guy on this album!"

The band last performed together in 2019 on their Odyssey: Greatest Hits Live tour before the band split to work on solo projects.

But with the coronavirus lockdown along with their break gave Mark the perfect break to work on his own album, even though his bandmates were quick to be cheeky about his work.

He said that he "sent the song" to Howard and Gary, only for them to turn around and say "it was s**t", with Mark quick to add: "No, afterwards they were very complimentary."
