Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan finally move into £3.5 million home and celebrate with pizza

It’s official, Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have finally moved into their dream home.

The happy couple shared the news on social media as they finally moved into their stunning £3.5million mansion that has been painstakingly renovated for the last three years.

The lavish Essex mansion has been a clear labour of love for the couple, as every detail of the luxury property has been adjusted to perfectly fit their needs.

Christening the new property with their very first takeaway in the new pad, Mark Wright took to Instagram to share the news of his move as he filmed a mouth watering selection of food alongside the caption: “Someone said cheat day?”

Sharing an Instagram Story of the delicious meal from Slice Sourdough Pizza in Essex, the former TOWIE star even filmed the delivery driver at the door as he marked the milestone moment at his new home.

Explaining what he was doing, Mark said: “Look at this, the first pizza delivered to the new house. Jimbo, Jamesy from Slice. Wait till you see these pizzas, let's go.”

He then later showed a grand total of five pizzas laid out on his marble countertop as he and Michelle prepared to celebrate together.

The couple first purchased the home back in 2019 for £1.3million, but after a series of renovations which included a brand new pool and stunning gardens, the estimated value of the property has more than doubled.

Mark and Michelle have documented the renovation process every step of the way for the last three years, giving fans a behind the scenes glimpse of everything from carpet laying to design schematics, as they poured their heart and soul into crafting their dream house.

The process took a little longer than initially planned, as lockdowns and Covid-19 meant timelines had to be adjusted to comply with government regulations while also assuring the safety of contractors working on site.

Originally a farmhouse, the building was demolished to make way for the new home, which features five bedrooms, a bar, gym, granny annexe and even an outdoor swimming pool.

The couple won planning approval for the huge building back in January 2020, but it was only in October 2022 that the couple finally moved in to the sprawling mansion.

Choosing to celebrate with a well earned takeaway, gym lovers Mark and Michelle previously admitted it was a treat for them, as they worked to maintain a healthy diet.

Speaking to the Sun earlier this year, Mark said: “She [Michelle] loves a Chinese takeaway and a curry. We both have a very balanced life and we both work hard in the gym and stay healthy.”

Continuing, he added: ”I try to be as healthy as I can and live a balanced life. But at the weekend if you want to have a takeaway or eat some junk food do it because you need that balance in your life.”

Despite only recently moving in, Mark wasted no time in getting stuck into the household chores, as he even took to mowing his lawn on Sunday morning, delighting fans with a shirtless photo of the process as he cheekily captioned it: “How my Sundays have changed #35”.
