Maroon 5, Usher To Headline Benefit Concert Honoring Rep. John Lewis

Maroon 5 and Usher have been confirmed as headliners for a benefit concert in Atlanta to honor the late U.S. Representative John Lewis.

The Adam Levine-fronted band and the “Nice & Slow” singer will perform at the Beloved Benefit, which will take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on July 7. NBC Sports host and correspondent Maria Taylor will host the event. The event was rescheduled from its initial date in February due to COVID-19 concerns.

Besides Usher and Maroon 5’s performances, the benefit concert will also feature a program filled with inspiring community stories.

The proceeds from the concert will be distributed to several nonprofit beneficiaries that prioritize economic and community development. The Beloved Benefit has currently raised over $5 million for its cause.
